Butchering Drops Skeleton

You do not swallow whole your preys like a python, correct?
Perhaps you simply enjoy the sight of skeletons?
Or maybe you believe the bones can have more purposes
and you are convinced that throwing them away
is a waste of potential?


This mod might be perfect for you!
Upon butchering a flesh corpse, pawns will separate
the flesh from its skeleton and reveal its bones!

If you have the Ideology DLC enabled, you get a bonus
skull mask your pawns can wear on their head
for a cheap cost of a single skull!
It can be crafted at a crafting spot, butcher spot
and at a butcher table.
In a way, this mod makes it easier to harvest heads
since you will still be able to do it
after butchering their flesh out!

It also slightly reduces the beauty penalty of corpses.
Mummies, skeletal dinosaurs in museum and
cow skulls in deserts can be cool sometimes...

There's a setting to decide exactly
what their beauty value is!
You also have the option to literally disable
that mod's main feature of dropping desiccated corpses
after butchering them, so you have no reason
to not subscribe even if you are not into it!

The mod is safe to add and remove mid-save!

Harmony is required, but the Ideology DLC is optional!

Still haven't used this mod for my existing runs yet but will still have great potential to make the game more interesting when you gut animals or humans for meat.

About the Discord situation, unfortunately I got hacked from my Discord account that I used.

But fortunately I had an second account, to rejoin the server that I once been on New World. I already opened my comments on my profile.

Hm well bone actually is, you just end up with fragments with cremation. I was just curious since I do actually like bone mods and it would be nice if I could actually proccess them when I keep getting tribal members.

Is there any mods that can use the skeleton corps after you butcher the creature. To make stuff with the corps to build other things? I was just wondering.

IDK if this is normal behaviour for this mod but even when set to drop on ground my colonist keep bringin the skeletons to a dump site.

All i'm thinking is how broken this would actually be with vanilla expanded mechanoids because dessicated corpses can still for whatever reason be put into a meat grinder, so like actually cracked strategy i see there.

I feel like there should be a way to turn these skeletons into bones. Having so much skeleton around after butchering is a bit much.
