Let's revive this awesome gamemode!

This is my first version of a Map Maker for the old yet legendary gamemode Melonbomber. It's very easy to use.

Usually Melonbomber maps are based on algorithms for generation and scale with player count. Using fixed structures by making your own map can lead to empty spaces due to the gamemode extending your map to fit in all players. Therefore it's advised to choose a higher player amount when creating a map

1. Install the Custom Maps version of Melonbomber on your server: https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3302968872

2. Start a singleplayer sandbox session

3. Type '!mbmapmaker' in chat

4. Create your own map and save it

Join your server and: upload your new map to your server via Map Maker GUI "Delete/Export Maps". The new maps will be available immediately. The map previews will be added to the downloads for players joining the server. They will be available after the next map change / server restart.

1. There's a folder called 'exampleaddon' inside data/melonbomber/. Move your map .txt files from data/melonbomber/ inside this folder: data/melonbomber/exampleaddon/lua/melonbomber/maptypes/. Rename the file 'renamescript.txt' to 'renamescript.bat' and double click it to run it. It's a script that automatically renames your map .txt files to .lua and then deletes itself after it's done. If you prefer doing that manually you can do so and make sure that that you delete this script.

2. Move your map preview with the same name as your map file into data/melonbomber/exampleaddon/materials/melonbomber/maptypes/

3. You can now rename the 'exampleaddon' folder to whatever you like and upload it to workshop.
