Description
Welcome to GM_BUILDYOURDUNGEON_2!

I will be glad if you leave a comment and like it.

Here you can build or generate your dungeon using tiles and decorate it as you wish, adjust the light, choose one of several skins, and share your work with others, because now saves are working on the map!

Features:
  • You can build your own dungeon

  • You can generate a dungeon

  • Top view of the map

  • AI nodes (still work crookedly)

  • NavMesh

  • Dungeon interface with even more buttons and settings

  • The ability to change or turn off the light

  • The ability to change or disable sounds on the map

  • A special pointer with which it is more convenient to press buttons (located in Q/weapons/other)

  • Twice as much space compared to gm_buildyourdungeon

  • No Easter eggs this time... almost



Controls:
  • Tile Selection:
    Here you select the tile that you will use to draw on the map

  • Minimap:
    Tiles and doors are drawn here. Just press or shoot the buttons

  • FILL button:
    Fills the map with a closed tile

  • CLEAR button:
    Removes doors and tiles from the map

  • GRID button:
    Displaying the grid above the map

  • Generation:
    Select the number of steps (how many times the generator will move), whether to generate doors, and click START

  • Light:
    Click and select the lighting

  • Ambient:
    Sounds in the dungeon

  • Textures:
    Dungeon Skins



FAQ

Q: Is it possible to save dungeons?
A: Now yes. Just use the Gmod built-in save system.

Q: Is the map generated by itself?
A: Yes, there is a possibility of procedural generation.

Q: Why is it taking so long to generate?
A: Because crutches.

Q: Will you update this map?
A: I will fix bugs, and new content is possible, but unlikely. I've spent too much time on this map, so I want to switch to something else.

Q: Do I need any content?
A: No.

A method for multiple floors would be awesome. My group has been doing it by splitting the dungeon in half and using seamless portals, but having two or more full floors would be really awesome.

My entire group lost their collective shit when we found this. We're all very happy about this map. Thank you so much for uploading something so awesome.

This is awesome, and a huge improvement over the last one! Suggestions if you ever decided to make another would be:
Height variation, like pits and stairs to lower or higher floors.
Automatic Enemy Spawning in generation mode.
Maybe traps?

Other then that this map is great!

I have some problems trying to flip the button to enable generating doors or not.
Whenever I try doing that, I always start generating a new dungeon by accident.

Also, the resulting dungeon generally is really small. From about 7 to 11 rooms.

And... No monsters spawning inside it..
