Go check this out on Gamebanana, in mod form! This overhaul is likely not to be added by Valve, but is a passion project of around 6 months, and one we wish to give to the community. The mod is a simple vpk that will replace the original Gen 1-3 effects with the new, overhauled versions. Note: does NOT work in casual servers, unfortunately.
