Things you SHOULD know (Also i am taking a small break)
  • This was a one man project, which took 2-3 Months to accomplish all. by. myself...
  • Skyboxes are awful lol
  • Change levels may be unstable sometimes (can't fix)
  • HDR ONLY!
  • 2 Easter Eggs (1 requires Lost Coast)
  • Merged Maps
  • Removed most of Clips (FREEDOM!!)
  • Adapted some options for sandbox
  • Base Code may be Terrible
  • HL2 Leak stuff (noticeable in coast 04 and ravenholm)
What's this addon about?
Half-Life 2 Sandbox is aiming to be an expanded, improved, and less restrictive map pack from the original game, removed clips, more breakable, interactive stuff and so on, and also map merges, to reduce loadings, this is your campaign now, you decide how to play it

will there be any chance of these maps without the NPC's?
(example, removing the NPC's from the coast maps)

I was also thinking of the player being able to destroy some barricades that would normally require them to wait out a sequence.

Like this glass wall that gets blasted by the Zombine behind it. The player should be able to destroy this wall themselves if they don't have the patience to wait for the sequence, with Alyx possibly making a remark at it.

(I was also thinking of other things like the EMP Tool being used to reprogram Rollermines, Manhacks, and Turrets, with a list of things the EMP Tool can make freindly or hostile.

Or disable it to make every NPC, even organics, toggleable by EMP Tool.)

I wonder if you could possibly include a SWEP of Alyx's EMP Tool as a way to progress Alyx's levels without her?

If Alyx dies, she will drop the EMP Tool, which you can then use to access her events as well as possibly access some bonus or secret rooms locked by Combine barricades.
