Description

The year is 278 BC
A sudden and unexpected power is emerging in the eastern steppes. Tribes are uniting, calls for war are heard across the open steppes and whispers of a man who cannot be killed slip from the tongues of commoners.
With the death of his brother Bleda, Attila has now seized control of the Hunnic forces the (Khün), a union of steppe tribes never before seen in these parts but are greatly formidable

The rising Hunnic influence has been well noted by the neighboring nomadic tribes and they will fight to defend their way of life if need be. How far will you go to survive? Will you sweep oppression from the world and carve out a barbarian or Eastern kingdom of your own? Or will you brace against the coming storm, the rising Roman Empire and all those who threaten it

ABOUT THIS MOD
This is a Total DEI Roxolani overhaul into the Huns (Khün)
Mod info:
Because this is a DEI Submod, you are required to place this mod ABOVE DEI in your load order, as it overhauls parts of DEI, preferably closer to the top of your load order, depending on your mod list

This is a mod iv wanted to see made for years for rome 2 but nobody ever done it and I never knew why, so almost 2 months ago, I decided I will just do it myself. So I learned to mod with the help of the great DEI team and others on their discord and the mod just kept expanding since, to where I am now with a complete overhaul. I hope you enjoy this mod as much as I will. Almost 2 months of work and love went into this and I'm quite happy with the outcome. I really love the huns and were the main reason I could put as many hours as I did into the game but it wasn't rome 2, which just captures everything i love about Total war, so I had to bring the huns here, each unit is carefully hand crafted with time and love so you can get the most out of your battle moments

This is a Submod for DEI, I cannot tell you what will happen if you try run this mod without it but I imagine you'll have issues

Features:
Expanded unit roster
Redone all unit,Officer,General,Horse Models
Redone all unit cards + Names
Translated all unit names into Mongolian
New campaign territory color
New starting family tree + Attila model (Faction Leader)
New political party names
New Faction flag + Name
New Main menu backround photo
Replaced all units voice actors from barbarian - eastern (just sounds better)

An awesome coverage video a fan of this mod decided to make, worth checking out if you wanna hear someones input before trying this mod

Sorry about the crashes guys if you can, can you revert to the previous version of dei and see if it works? i won't have time to update it for a little bit as i'v alot of stuff im currently working on, the crash i imagine is due to the newer version of dei currently released

@BaLaDiN i will look into this, thanks
BaLaDiN 19 Jun, 2024 @ 12:25pm
I've seen it happen in 3 different campaigns now, and it only seems to affect factions that only own one settlement. Once their main army is destroyed they will not recruit another one...
BaLaDiN 19 Jun, 2024 @ 12:24pm
I do not use any other mods apart from yours and DEI part 1-2-3 so there should not be any conflicts
IrishBandito  [author] 18 Jun, 2024 @ 11:42am
@BaLaDiN thanks a lot dude glad you're enjoying it, feel free to mention any issues you come across

that issue sounds like it could be an unintended conflict with one of your other submods, or completely an issue with a submod in general? Nothing in my overhaul would effect tables like that I don't think
