This is supposed to be a night early morning mission. When Second Front allows for night missions, I shall incorporate and update/upload.

The Germans had opened the locks during high tide and closed them before the water could recede. The depth of the water at the time of insertion by paratroopers was 3 feet and some paratroopers drowned in it. Their airborne gear became tangled and/or they had difficulties decoupling from the American parachutes they had on loan from the U.S (Not a single release as their British para gear).. The map reflects the water present at the time. It's not an unusual occurrence for that region, as in the fall they are inundated with heavy rainfall and the water appears much like the map suggests here. Note the land bridge/causeway that has been constructed due to their weather trends. The surrounding land has farmland, grazing areas for their herds and flocks; encompassing the remainder of the area. Also, note the bridge it's a short and simple structure.
