Welcome back to another Historical Upload from The Huber Show I am your HOOOOOST Mark Huber And Today we are going to Discuss The Iowa & Ramble Switchers, Yes, the Most beautiful railroad Is back with A Strong Restoration! Before we begin, I'd like to thank all my Loyalists, My Iowa & Ramble Critics and of course, my NT&V Engineers, you are the reason why this content REMAIINNNS! Stylish even for the dirtiest! Now let's dive in,
This Is The Story Of The Iowa & Rambles's Switcher locomotives!

The I-3 0-6-0

Built date: 1903
Builder: Northern Locomotive Works
Horsepower: 1,200 HP
Tractive Effort: 34,000lb
Delivered: 1904
Service Life: 52 Years. Ended on May 10th, 1956.
Top Speed: 50 MPH
Purpose: Switching/Industry
Preservation: 10 are preserved across 10 museums.
Operable today: The Tennesee Valley Museum Operates I&R #100 with 630 and 4501.
Fun Fact: This locomotive is the most preserved type of locomotive.

The I-4 0-8-0

Built date: 1910
Builder: ALCO (American Locomotive Company)
Horsepower: 2,000 HP
Tractive Effort: 50,000lb
Delivered: 1911
Service Life: 46 Years. Ended service on Octobet 31st, 1957.
Top Speed: 60 MPH
Purpose: Switching/Commuter
Preservation: 3 are preserved across 2 museums.
Operable today: The I&R still owns one and uses it for switching their excursion trains and sometimes even runs it's own excursions with Commuter cars or with another locomotive in some cases.
Fun Fact: This was the very first 0-8-0 to be used for Switching AND Commuter service.
