Report a translation problem
I mention this because I actually re balanced this for vanilla when I made this version. I even went so far as to record one of the tests I did with it vs two emp missile launchers. You can see the effect in the 5th image. It defeats 1 emp missile, but the second gets in with impunity. According to my testing of it's balance, whats you're describing is an anomaly.

- Non deck mounted
I feel like this Ion PD should be like super short range to encourage efficient placement, instead of being a sniping super system.
It probably makes a lot of sense in the context of the overhaul where many things are stronger, but as a standalone its pretty OP.
