Horses & More

Description
This mod adds rideable horses, camels and oxen
You can attach one or more ropes to your animals and make them pull something

You can mount the horse or camel by interacting at the saddle. This should give you control over the animal. And lose control when you dismount again with default F (can be configured with leave seat button)
You move the animal with WSAD and E for quick stopping. (all keys can be configured under remote rope category)
There is a chance that you did not automatically lost control when dismounting, in this case you need to interact with the animal its neck area to disconnect yourself, or you can also move a distance away to auto disconnect.

To control the Ox you need to interact with the neck area as it cannot be ridden.

All the animals will eat grass on their own when placed on grass or can be hand fed with wheat or other foods.

Be sure to check the block descriptions for more information

Yeah I get that, I just think its a bit unnecessarily convoluted. If it were up to me, I would make the mechanics as similar as possible to the horse mechanics in Kingdom Come Deliverance. Also, it sometimes doesnt auto disconnect when I dismount, thats my point. Then it leads me having to play around with it by pressing F multiple times or holding it down and moving the mouse around before it finally both dismounts me and disconnects.

I added some of the basic information in the mod description

If you mount the horse without having control you will get control automatically (without using the neck). If you then dismount you will lose control. The neck is only for manual connecting and disconnecting and you can also turn off the auto behavior.
For stopping there is a key to instantly set its desired speed to 0. I think its default E

This is great work. However, Im not a big fan of the dismounting. I understand that you have to press F again on the neck to completely disconnect from the horse, but I think it would be better if it just dismounted completely with the first F press instead, otherwise it can be a bit of a needless hassle to dismount. I also think that the minimum speed should be 1 or 1.5 so that you dont have to play around with trying to get the horse to completely stop and risk it not being perfectly at 0 for a quick dismount, it should just be assumed that anything less means you want to stop. Horses dont really move that slowly in real life anyway.

Do the horses actually have walking animations?

Your horse is dynamic right? If you right click you can drag it around with your player rope?

heyo, cant get the horse to move, first time with the mod and no one has had this issue from what ive seen, running just this mod and its dependancies, i can enter remote control mode, get on and off the horse, i have the speed prompt come up but theres no movement, any help?

Adding - OK, I see how the auto-disconnect should work since I am getting it to work on a server I play on, where I couldn't. My rotate slightly to change what part of the neck you are interacting with helps if for any reason dismounting isn't auto-disconnecting

To Torchwood's question: If you haven;t figure it out, I learned after a lot of fiddling that "interact with the neck" is a bit simplified - while aiming at the neck area of the horse you will see various text prompts come up, depending on exactly where on the neck area the game thinks you are looking. Try using A an D to slightly rotate the horse while looking and you will get different prompts. I haven't been able to get the auto-disconnect to work? So when I see the prompt that mentions leaving channel I press F and that manually disconnects. Took me forever to figure this out. :)
