Description
“ENOUGH FIRE IN THE RIGHT PLACE CAN SOLVE ANY PROBLEM.”





This is the framework for the Grimworld 40,000 mod series. It adds core functionalities leveraged by other mods in the series. It is comprised of necessary code and has little to no visual additions.

This mod is made by fans for fans. Follow our mod list for more Warhammer 40,000 content.

Any content added will can be subjected to changes in the future as we look in to ways to improve our mod and contents. We will provide alternative means to reach previous content if any big changes happen. Mainly we want to state that this mod series is still being built up and future additions will be released when finished, these also may be expanded upon in the future.


  • Coloring tool - A special apparel tool that allows switching between multiple masks and the application of up to 3 colors per item, in a custom interface.
  • Custom research blueprint - A custom made research blueprint utilized as a requirement for researches without the use of the Royalty DLC as a requirement for the mod series.

  • Shields and weapons tag system - A custom tag system that allows your pawns to equip shields without additional mods. These shields stay hidden until the pawn is drafted.

  • Unwavering conversion - A custom tool that allows you to enable objects to convert the most unwavering pawns by "stripping the unwavering loyalty" trait.

  • Apparel set power (provided by BlackMarket420) - A special code which grants a pawn a hediff when they're wearing a specific set or combination of clothes.

  • Jump ability - A special code which grants a pawn with specific apparel to jump and deal damage on landing.

  • Melee weapons burst fire - A special code which grants a melee weapon ability to shot volley of bullets.

  • Weapons stance switch - Thanks to Blackmarket420 we can have weapons which have range and melee stance

  • Parry system - Thanks to Sandwish we can have shields which can parry, reflect melee/range attacks and negate damage in melee

A: Yes, but this is a framework only.

Q: I'm having Linux incompatibilities or my Linux version is not working properly with the framework.
A: Linux users may need to use ProtonDB. This is due to an issue in the painting tool.

Q: Is this mod Combat Extended compatible?
A: Yes.

Its old mod, we dont plan to make any patches for it but you can use cherry picker to select which duplicated things you want

Any compatibility issues with the Astra Militarum/Adeptus Mechanicus Mods? Is there a patch that overlaps the resources to be more streamlined. I've enjoyed those mods in the past and was hoping they won't conflict with yours

Big fan of this mod series. Any chance you'll do a mechanicus based addition? If so, do you think you could add turning prisoners into servitors for labor or as a variant to anamoly's ghouls with ranged option.

not sure if this is the correct mod in the series that manages faction traders that spawn (ie imperial traders), maybe someone can point me in the right direction. none the the traders spawn with the little "?" question mark on a pawn to interact with. is there another mod that is needed to support trading?

So there was a little problem on a new map, nothing major that cant be fixed with devmod. Supporter monument partially spawned on top of exoskeleton strider that gives the mechlink quest.
