your gpu does absolutely nothing in gmod, the singlecore cpu speed and memory speed is what important
get multicore config and x64 and uninstall some addons
i having 400fps with drops to 150 on r5 5600

@Turtlemaster65 nothing beats the classics, including wood. [Tactical is good too though, they are all good.]
