Previous GTA games included Hidden Packages which were just that, hidden packages which you needed to find and collect, in order to unlock special weapons at certain hideouts, as well as money. GTA San Andreas is huge compared to previous games, and as a result you have a lot more collectables to find. There's 250 collectable items altogether, and 100 of these are Tags which can be found in the streets of Los Santos, San Andreas. Unlike collectables, these must be sprayed over with a spray can however. This map will help to point out the locations to make them a bit easier to find, and alongside this map, a guide should make them impossible to miss.



Due to the size of this map it cannot be displayed on the same page as the site template, so you will have to click on the thumbnail below which will open the full map in a new window. You can then use the scroll bars to make your way across it. Clicking on a number on the image will pop up with a screenshot of the location in order to help you find the exact location. Please excuse the wait while the file loads, due to the quality of the image the size is in the region of 400kb which may take a minute or so on 56k. If you're still on 56k you should be shot though :). Use the small radar shown on each screenshot, as well as their marked location on the map to help you pinpoint the position of the Tags I'd advise working through them in order so you don't get lost.



There are 50 Snapshots in San Fierro, and taking each snapshot in the game gives the player $100. Collecting all the snapshots makes the player $5000 richer and gives them four weapon spawns that are available at Doherty Garage. The weapons that are spawned are the Micro Uzi, Grenades, Pump Action Shotgun, and Sniper Rifle, and the player will also be awarded a bonus of $100,000.



Required for obtaining 100% completion, Horseshoes are a unique collectible that can be found around the Las Venturas The GTA San Andreas Horseshoes are required to 100% complete the game and they can all be found in Las Venturas. Picking up Horseshoes will increase your luck by 20 and you’ll be rewarded $100. Your luck stat can only increase by collecting Horseshoes and doesn’t play a factor in gambling. Some of the Horseshoes can be hard to get to so it’s recommended you use the Jetpack or a Helicopter.



Oysters are a unique collectible in GTA San Andreas that is required for 100% completion of the game. In total, there are 50 Oysters to be found, all of which have been scattered across the GTA San Andreas map.

When it comes to rewards, you'll be happy to know that you'll receive a reward of $100 for each one you find and $100,000 for finding all 50 of them. In addition to the monetary reward, you'll also unlock 100% lung capacity, a new perk that’ll allow you to date a new girlfriend regardless of your sex appeal, the chance to date an ex-girlfriend that has previously dumped you, as well as the ability to revive any dead girlfriend, except for Millie and Denise.
