The Pact is a special event in the zombie mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War that was added to the game much later after the usual support for the project ended. It is also called the «Super Easter Egg».

The essence of The Pact is to reward the player for completing a certain number (or all) of the zombie mode story quests, namely:


The order in which you complete the quests does not matter, only the number of quests is important. Depending on this number, the final reward will vary.

To activate The Pact, you need to get to the Zoo map in Outbreak mode, namely, find a special pedestal in the east of the map.


There are 2 ways to quickly get to this particular map:

1. Start a match of the «Outbreak Collapse» sub-mode, which will offer to choose one of two maps. Among them may or may not be the Zoo
   
   
2. Start a normal Outbreak match, then interact with the mask located at each location (except Zoo):

Depending on the number of completed story quests, the player will receive the following rewards:

Emblems for completing the following story quests:

• Die Maschine — Sam, Carver
  
• Firebase Z — Peck, Ravenov
  
• Outbreak: Ravenov Implications — Grey, Strauss
  
• Outbreak: Entrapment — Raptor One, Weaver
  
• Mauer der Toten — Valentina, Klaus
  
• Forsaken — Sergei, Maxis

Automatic rarity level of your weapon at the beginning of each match:

• 2 quests — Unusual (🟩)
  
• 4 quests — Rare (🟦)
  
• 6 quests — Epic (🟪)

For completing all 6 quests:

• «Dark Deeds» accessory that tracks the number of headshots in a match

The player may at any time cancel the weapon rarity bonus granted by The Pact. To do so, the player must interact with the altar again in the same location.

The player can change their decision countless times.
