Story quest (Maxis Potential)
Before you start the story mission, we recommend that you do the following:
  • Immediately after activating Pack-a-Punch, go to the second floor and «Bunny Easter egg» to get free Juggernog perk and possibly wonder weapon

  • If the wonder weapon does not drop from the container, activate the computer with tasks, level up to Legendary for valuable rewards. The wonder weapon may be among them with a medium probability.

    This is the recommended method, as the traditional one involves waiting up to round 15 and performing some difficult actions.

Tasks to be completed for the Firebase Z storyline quest:
  1. Obtain the RAI K-84 wonder weapon
  2. Create a truth serum and use it on Peck
  3. Obtaining the necessary information about the location of Maxis
  4. Collecting aether crystals to strengthen aether reactors
  5. Adding excess energy to free Maxis
  6. Escape from Vietnam
🟥 Wonder weapon RAI K-84
The player has several ways to get this weapon:

    Bunny Easter Egg (Free Jugg)
    Small chance
    From the mystery box
    Small chance
    Legendary reward for completing tasks
    Medium chance
    By completing certain actions
    GUARANTEED

However, looking at the required actions, many players would rather try their luck through the rewards for the tasks than purposefully hunt for a guaranteed wonder weapon. But still:

    First of all, you need to take the blueprints from the armory wall
    Then you need to remove Dmitry Kulklay's eye key.
    To the left of it is intelligence (not part of the task)
    The resulting eye should be used on a computer near the same armory, so that the player turns on the device and can get the key from the drawer
    The key can be used to open some barracks safes - some of them contain intelligence, and opening another provokes a special facial expression that drops a barrel
    Another part of the weapon is connected to the computer: after activating it, you need to memorize the position of the glowing sector, or rather, where it will stop three times.
    The animation can be played an unlimited number of times
    After you memorize the positions (and their sequence), return to the starting location.
    There will be a dartboard next to Der Wunderfizz.
    Shoot the "code" exactly as the computer shows, then shoot in the center of the target to open the cache and give the player the desired part
    Then the player needs to wait until round 15 for the Mangler to appear.

After two rounds, the player can pick up the loaded magazine, then assemble the RAI K-84 on the workbench in the same place where the blueprint was taken.
Creating a truth serum
Once the player has activated all three generators and returned to Pack-a-Punch, Peck will open the defense of his bunker in the flight control center.

Once the player is sent to a known location, they need to return to Ravenov to receive a ID keycard from him.



With this card, you can open three safes containing the ingredients of the "truth serum":

    In the building next to Quick Revive
    First floor of the building, next to the «Dome»
    Colonel's office, next to Juggernog


Next, all three ingredients must be brought to the infirmary and inserted into a laboratory centrifuge. In a few seconds, several hellhounds will appear nearby, and in less than 15 seconds, the serum will be ready.



Since «the rat is securely entrenched in its bunker», the serum must be injected through the ventilation system located outside:



After watching Peck dancing, the player will be able to see the next part of the Easter egg hunt.

Obtaining the necessary information
Welcome to worst part of EE not only for this map, but the entire Black Ops Cold War zombie mode

Mimic Step

In the data center, the player must interact with a special computer from which you can take a new item — an essence trap that automatically replaces tactical equipment. A player can carry only one such item, the other three are intended for other players (if they are present in the match).

The principle of this mechanism is very similar to Pokéballs: you need to leave the targeted creature with the minimum possible health, then throw the trap on the ground and double-click on F to activate it. The device will try to suck in the nearest enemy, so you need to skillfully lure the target out of the crowd.



If the player leaves the target with too much health, there is a very high chance that it will simply escape from the trap, which will require the player to run back to the computer for a new device.

In case of a successful capture, the player will have three minutes to return the device to its place to receive story information, a local lore, or activate an additional Easter egg.

In order to fulfill this part, the player must catch certain mimics, which are the following characters:
  • Sokolov;
  • Brahms;
  • Zabin.

The problem is that the desired mimic appears from the decoy objects in certain locations:

    Sokolov - Peck's apartment (where the Bullfrog is on the wall)
    Brahms - Car park (to the right of Tombstone Soda)
    Zabin - Control center and corridor (next to Juggernog)

The difficulties in this stage are as follows:
  • The desired mimic does not differ in appearance from the usual one
  • Catching an unnecessary mimic will give nothing but lore
  • There is a bug that makes it impossible to catch the desired facial expression or it will not leave the deception state until the end of the round
  • The computer correctly recreates the memory of only one of the plot-important characters per round.
  • To determine exactly whose memory it was, you should enable subtitles in the settings.

After the memory of all three required characters is collected, the computer will give you a floppy disk.



The floppy disk must be inserted into this computer, which will open the door to the "same sphere as in the Dome":



Peck will later inform you that you need to collect special crystals to stabilize the portal, and Ravenov will tell you the code to the nearby locker that will drop an Aethermeter.

Collecting crystals
In addition to the etherometer, the player must acquire two more items:
  • RAI K-84 wonder weapon
  • shovel
The second item is located on the eastern line of defense (near Peck's bunker).





Container #1
This item can be found in the western part of the map, in the middle of the second jungle corridor.



After digging, a yellow protective field appears, and the player will be attacked by a crowd of zombies, hellhounds, and Manglers, from which a key item of wonder weapon can also fall out. After successfully defending themselves, the player can take this canister.





Container #2
The second one is much more complicated — it is being dug up in the corner near this building.



The difficulty lies in the fact that soon a couple dozen similar canisters will appear, among which the player must find a special one. Choosing the wrong canister will lead to the failure of this part of the Easter egg hunt in the current round. You can repeat the procedure from the next round.

The peculiarity of the desired crystal is that the real one does not have the additional «dark aura» that is inherent in all the others.

Container #3
This part of the Easter Egg hunt can only be completed with the RAI K-84 wonder weapon.

The player must first dig up the canister in this location.



After a short time, the canister will disappear and teleport to a random location in the barracks and medical center area. As soon as the player tries to approach it to pick it up, it will repeat the same trick.

That's what the wonder rifle is for: as soon as the player finds the canister, he has to switch the weapon to fire a slowing sphere, then shoot it at the canister and pick it up immediately until the slowing effect ends.






All three crystals must be inserted into each of the generators.



After they overload the entire system, Peck confesses to everything, leaving the heroes with nothing.

In a minute, Weaver comes up with a new plan, which is that the necessary energy will be transmitted via Requiem's satellite. The computer that will allow them to connect to the satellite is in the following location:



Welcome to the second worst part of the Easter egg of this map and the entire Black Ops Cold War zombie mode

Players with a keyboard will have to use the idiotic Q-E-R-G control to adjust the plate. For players with a controller, it's much easier.

Among the glowing dots, you need to aim for the one that will eventually produce a question mark instead of a country's flag.

Boss Fight
After the player rescues Maxis, the only stage left is the boss fight. This time with a «real boss», the Orda — creature the player could encounter in Die Maschine when teleporting to the Dark Aether in the later rounds, as well as during the third defense of the generators.



This bossfight is the easiest in Black Ops Cold War and one of the easiest in Call of Duty's Zombies mode:
  • The horde can only oneshot you if it reaches out, and there is plenty of space on the starting location where it cannot reach;
  • The player will always have access to the crafting table, PAP and Wunderfizz.
  • The game ends immediately after the boss dies, and the player will be presented with a special cutscene.

For completing the storyline, the player will receive the Dark Ops achievement «Maxis Potential»

🎵 Musical Easter Egg
As in the case of Die Maschine, you need to collect three cassettes:

    On the shelf in the starting location (only after activating PAP)
    In the room with the equipment (starting location)
    On the ground in the fleet office


As a reward, the player will activate the song "Lost", sung by Julie Nathanson and composed by Craig Houston.

🥚 Easter Egg «Free Jugg»
Free Juggernog perk

    After the player activates the three reactors and returns to the PAP, it is necessary to look closely at the toy bunny twice before the end of the next round, standing opposite it.
    After a close inspection, the player will lose control of the character for a few seconds (preferably without zombies around at the time), and the bunny will move the player to the dark jungle, where he will need to destroy three levitating toys
    For completing this Easter egg, the player is guaranteed to receive the Juggernog perk, as well as many other useful items, including a wonder weapon
🥚 Easter Egg «Free Perk»
Random free perk

In order to get this perk, you need to create a serum, use it on Peka, and then take the essence trap.

Before that, you can find Sergei's head in one of six possible places:


Then you need to take this head to the medical center. As in the case of the golden orb from Die Maschine, the player will hold the object with both hands and become vulnerable.


Once the head is in place, you need to catch an ordinary zombie in an essence trap, dealing near-critical damage to it in advance (otherwise it will break the device).

The resulting "pokesquare" should be placed on the same stand so that the head flies off and says the code. The character will open the safe in the colonel's room on his own.


When you open it, an alarm will go off and a dozen hellhounds will appear nearby, and the player can get a random perk (even the one they already have) and intelligence from the safe.

🥚 Easter Egg «Super Monkey Bomb»
In order to get an upgraded monkey, you need to kill about 50 zombies near any of the three generators with the same grenade.


Once the condition is met, subsequent activations of the Monkey bomb will cause the grenade to glow brighter red and the zombies to dance instead of gathering around one point.

🥚 Easter Egg «Free Jump pad»
To activate the Easter bonanza, you need to spend a total of 3000 points to activate each jump pad once, of which there are 6 in total (two for each generator).

Then, when inspecting one of them, the player will notice that the small indicator to the left of the button will turn green.


After shooting at it, a mini-game will start to repeat the actions in the direction of the arrow. If the player does not move enough or does not perform the action in time (for example, due to zombies), then this Easter egg will be available again only from the next round.

In order to make all subsequent activations of the jumppads free, you need to successfully "dance" near all installations.

just a small tip for crystal container #3, shooting the slowing sphere with the RAI K-84 on the digspot, and then quickly digging will prevent it from moving in the first place
