Description
"Move Here" Command Tile

This mod adds a tile that allows to call duplicants to its position via logic signal


Current latest Version: 1.0.6




New Tile: "Duplicant Caller Tile"
  • made from 25kg of refined metal and 75kg of raw minerals
  • requires 10W of power.
  • requires logic cable
  • requires duplicant assigned
  • send a green logic signal to continuously call the assigned duplicant to the tiles location (only works if the dupe can reach the tile)
  • cancel ongoing movement calls via red logic signal.
  • move commands override dupes need, life insurance not included
  • Colour indicator: Grey = no power/no dupe assignment, Red = dupe assigned but no commands given, Green = dupe is being called

this mod pairs nicely especially for debugging builds with the memory toggle, switch, and the dupe sensor. You can call a dupe to a spot with a switch, then when he/she arrives flip it off and they can do the local task (hopefully!).

sometimes i'll damage the areas around the atmo suits or base walls and accidentally create an unintended base exit. The dupes stream out to the most dangerous areas of the maps and it's a super hassle to keep individually coaxing them back while I repair the damage. I've wanted a function like this - it's in RimWorld - where I can summon everyone back to a safe area while I access the damage and send just the appropriate dupe(s) to repair it. thanks!

I'm going to use this for my ranchers to groom hatches - they don't get summoned until the hatches wake up, and if the rancher is on the other side of the map it takes too long for them to get there. With this, they can walk over just before nightfall and start grooming immediately.

working on it, in the meantime you can unassign the dupe and deconstruct it after, that shouldnt crash
