Fayum Class Light Xebec

Every nation knows that empire's are made on the shoulders of merchants. They move the economy, and as such, the world is moved by then. Problem is, that also apply to enemies of the Tarrakh Shanate! Acknowledging this, the shipbuilders from the far reaches of the Shanate proposed a very logical solution to that. Rob our enemies merchants while spending very little ourselves. With this proposition in mind, the Fayum came to realization.

A very simple, but effective design, the Fayum proved itself as a very fast, nimble, although fragile raiding vessel. Due to weight limitations, the ships are usually equipped with very light guns, though these prove to be enough to subdue the less armed convoys of traders.
