I have returned after a brief hiatus! WHICH MEANS MORE NEW YORK CENTRAL BABY!!!!!! ROAD TO THE FUTURE!

Following World War 2, in an effort to modernize the NYC Switcher fleet, EMD was contracted to make NW2s. They made quite a few, models A-L. Although those models represent the batches, it is cooler to think of it as 12 different versions of the NW2. Fun fact! They are all speed limited to 45mph, to preserve engine life.
