“The Dragon Queen”

Hi again everyone,
With fire and blood the Dragon Queen Islandra has returned to bring terror to all enemies of the High Elves.

For those of you that are new to my mods, Islandra is a custom Legendary Lord that can be recruited by every fraction of the High Elves. She is a melee duelist that specializes in aggression in her forces. She has a custom model, skill-tree, mounts and of course my favorite part, lore.



Like a lot of you, I love the fluff behind the Warhammer world. It is with that in mind that I tried to bring her to life as best I could. I always add new fluff with each release. I've been slowly connecting the parts of her story through the lore in all my mods. The Story

The Princess walked down the hallway with the graceful ease of an artist. Bright red splashes of fluid covered the walls of the high stone keep as she moved. Behind her a gruesome myriad of broken and dying bodes lay. No words were spoken. She was beyond that now. Most fled as she advanced, those that stood their ground fell. They died in droves, adding to the cruel ambiance of her wrath. She was almost there.

The high narrow doors of the inner chamber loomed in front of her. The iron wrought doors had stood firm for thousands of years. Barred from the inside, they were designed to hold back the fiercest army. No Elf alive could hope to break them. He was safe in there and he knew it. Soon reinforcements would arrive to save him. Time was running out. Luckily she had planned on this. She had the perfect tool.

“Roo, my dear”, her blood splashed lips whispered.

Behind her a hulking mountain moved. Half of a castle guard was flung into the oblivion of night as the monster turned toward her. The other half of the poor guard was gnashed in its massive jaws and downed with a bone crunching gulp.

The creature lumbered up to her. She pointed one of her blades at the ensorcelled door.

The giant albino Kroxigor grunted and smiled at her as much as it could. It's one-eyed gaze turned to the door. The sound of his pounding echoed like an explosion. Hit after hit it sounded until finally the ancient hinges strained then finally buckled. The huge doors broke and crumpled inward. Her prize was open.

Her forces flooded in and were met the defenders inside of the giant. The final climactic fray has begun. He was in there. She would find him.

She easily parried a sword and riposted a killing strike to the offender. Another parry and another enemy fell to her return strike. She calmly strode forward, her blades bringing death to all those in her path. Then she saw him. He was behind a group of sword-masters. They would be tough, but she had waited a long time for this. They would not stop her. She advanced.

They attacked as one. The large two handed blades they wielded were deadly, but she had trained for this. The swirling mist caused by her serpent gems slowed the blades of the elite just enough for her to escape certain death. Ducking under one, while parrying another she moved. She had killed several of them when one of her blades was knocked from her hand.

With only one sword, she switched to a defensive stance. She could see her prize was moving again, running away back down a corridor. He was escaping. She grimaced.

“Anytime … Kyllas” She rasped between parries. A shadow moved.

The sword-master in front of the princess convulsed as a blade exited the front of his throat. Blood gushed and the poor elf's mouth moved silently. He fell awkwardly forward and revealed his killer.

A dark haired Witch-Elf stood where once the sword-master had. The death-hag looked over and smiled at her. “All you had to do is ask, my beloved” Kyllas said coyly. The twin blades of the Witch-Elf spun and downed another defender. “Go, I will handle these...little elflings” Kyllas stated amusingly as she ducked a blade and gutted the offender.

The princess ran.

In the back hallway she caught him. The years had been hard on him. He was now a pitiful thing. Thin and old, time had taken it's due on him. Hardly worth the title of a Dragon Lord. The old elf stumbled and fell as he tried to run. She approached.

He looked up at her from the ground. “I..it was not my fault, Princess!” The terrified Elf exclaimed. “It was Lady Shunnya and Lord Hyllous that caused your exile. I..i. tried to stop them!”, he stammered. Her blade caressed the bottom of his chin and forced him to raise his head to look at her.

“No Lord Rillias. It was not.” She stated coldly. “and no... you did not”

“I know about your deal with the Eataine Nobles to deny my brother candidacy for the Phoenix Throne. It was rather convenient that I was blamed for your coup and my brother was tarnished all in one fell swoop. You cannot imagine what I endured because of you.”, she said with gritted teeth.

Lord Rillias started to deny, but she produced a blood stained ring and dropped it on his lap. The old Lord's mouth shook in horror. “Your son admitted the truth to me at his end”, she said.

“You... you will not get away with this! I have powerful allies in court!” The Lord growled. “I know my dear Lord Rillias. Let them come”, she said smiling. “I am home”, she stated coldly as she thrust her blade forward. “ and a dragon fears nothing” she added.

TLDR:Princess Islandra of Caledor is the sister of Imrik who was falsely blamed for a failed coup against the Phoenix Throne. She is mockingly called “the Dragon Queen”, but has returned to make that name a reality.


If you want to use of borrow any of my work please ask FIRST. I spent a lot of time creating her and stealing that time is kind of a jerk thing to do.

Q: Is there a skill dump?
A: YES! You wanted it, you got it! This is how much I love you.

Q: Can you make her have her own faction?
A: No. The assembly kit hates me. I wish! Maybe in the future. Who knows. Stop asking. No, I'm not upset. Ok, I am but I don't wanna talk about it. ;_;

Q: X doesn't work.
A: Please check your mods for conflicts first BEFORE posting below. Often the problem is a conflict with another mod that is the problem. I get flooded with requests like this only to have the person discover that another mod is issue.

Q: Is there an SFO version?
A: No. Maybe in the future, or maybe some enterprising RPFM ninja wants to team up with me to keep one updated.
