Description
What does this mod do?
This mod adds several new artillery units to Grand Cathay, recruitable by all Cathayan factions including the AI. I really like the variety of artillery the Empire has access to, so I decided to give Cathay some similar options.

Units
Cathayan Bolt Thrower:
In Cathay's rural regions gunpowder is hard to come by, and so the humble bolt thrower remains in service.

Much like other bolt throwers in the series, the Cathay variant fires anti-large AP bolts. It differs from its dwarf counterpart in that it deals more AP damage per shot but is slightly less accurate and fires slower. Harmony buffs can help offset this. It is available early and is a cheap source of the siege attacker attribute.

Cathayan Mortar:
The famed forges of Nan-Gau rival even Nuln for the diverse array of armaments they produce.

More rapid firing than its Empire equivalent, the Cathayan Mortar deals slightly less damage. Be warned- the AI seems to have become good at dodging arcing shots in WH3, so it is best used against stationary enemies such as ranged units who are already firing.

Cathayan Mortar (Firecrackers):
Innovative new shells based on firecrackers sow disorder among the ranks of the enemy, leaving them wide open for attack.

This variant fires highly inaccurate shells that split into a dozen smaller bombs, dealing less damage per shot. It is barely able to scratch armoured units. The real value lies in the new 'disarray!' status effect that the bombs inflict, reducing speed, accuracy and block chance to allow other missiles to finish the job.

Iron Hail Cannon:
Equivalent in firepower to an entire regiment, these cannons mow down the foe with spiteful ease.

A tier 4 artillery unit, the Iron Hail cannon is a triple-barrelled cannon that can perform well against almost all targets, firing three high mass cannonballs per volley. However, its range is relatively short, and its ammo count is quite low.

Bastion Cannon:
Originally designed to fire from the heights of the Great Bastion, these cannons are the pride of Nan-Gau.

The Bastion Cannon is a powerful capped unit, with the cap increasing by 1 for each gate of the Great Bastion you upgrade to tier V. It has two long range fire modes: the main one is an explosive shell like a beefed up mortar, with a hefty bonus vs structures. The second is a shell that splits into multiple destructive armour-piercing bombs, covering a wide circular area. It is primarily strong against infantry. (Cap should be working again now).

All units except the Bastion Cannon can be recruited from the standard artillery buildings. The Bastion Cannon can be recruited from tier V Bastion buildings. All units in this mod are affected by Grand Cannon skills and technology.

Known Issues:
-Artillery crew members standing closest to the engine may seem to run in slow motion, due to animations being designed for faster ox-drawn artillery.
-Bastion Cannon crew may struggle to form up again after models die. Unsure why this happens.

Can I use some of you models in this pack to build upon for a possible Vampire Coast faction? I am mostly interested in the Bastion Cannon. I do enjoy the design of your models and it would save me some time emulating your designs.

I think there is no "fix mod" for 6.0, it would prob be a very quick update for the mod maker if he finds the time. In theory, if it's just units and no Khorne/Ogre/Greenskin content in the mod = *could* also work without update.... But it would be good to get it coinfirmed by someone with more clue than me <3

Bastion Cannon is super OP, but the other units are pretty good for balance
I still prefer Fire Rain Rockets a lot of the time but the extra options are fun.
