For some reason, CS:GO does not show you the location of a Name Tag until AFTER you pay the $1.99 and apply it - often leading me to remove the name tag I just payed for because of how badly it covers the artwork of the skin. I originally made this guide for myself - because I often forget where the nametags are located on each gun (some of them are completely horrible), and finding images on the internet of each gun/knife with a name tag on it is MUCH more difficult than you would think! (seriously - try finding an image of a name tag on a Survival Knife for example.)

At the time of writing this - there are no 3rd-party screenshot/marketplace sites that even show you nametags in the preview images, and inspecting someone else's "name-tagged" skin in your game will not actually show the physical name tag on the skin.

I got sick of searching for (and zooming in on) pixelated images or videos every time I wanted to know where a name tag went - so I decided to make these images as reference for myself. Since I did not want to spend $106 on 53 nametags (in addition to purchasing every vanilla knife) - I decided to photoshop nametags in the correct location, orientation and size onto each skin. This still took me about 6 hours because of how long it took to find good reference photos for all 53 skins.

I also included the StatTrak locations for each weapon - because it was easy to add (even though this info is much more readily available.) I did not, however, include the StatTrak locations for the knives - because most of them are on the opposite side of the knife (and I don't think enough people care about ST knives.)

I know this is a much more simplistic guide than I usually make, and most people may have no use for it at all - but I ultimately decided to make it in the off-chance that someone else needed it as much as I did. Hopefully I can save you $1.99 <3 . . .

Great guide! I was going to spend money on a name tag for my Nova, but wanted to double check the location of the tag, and from your guide see that the location of the tag would be right where I have a sticker applied, so I decided against it. That saved me $1,99 for sure.
