A growing number of "Game Guide" sites are appearing on the web that simply harvest guides from Steam using bots, Ads are then placed alongside the guides and site owner then profits from the hard work of others. Indiefaq, Steamlists, Steamah & Steamsolo are the biggest culprits, please do not support these content stealing cretins.
Bugs.
During my time playing Royal Roads I encountered just one minor bug, a graphical glitch with the intro text boxes on level 83, which did not prevent me from playing or completing the level.

There was a bug reported regarding the "Hero" achievement not unlocking when all other achievements had been unlocked, this has since been fixed, and I can confirm it popped exactly when it was supposed to do so for me.
Achievement Guide.
I'll not bother with an indepth achievement guide for this game, suffice to say, if you complete all 100 levels*, earning 3 stars on each level and use each of the three special abilities at least once, you will earn all the achievements... that's if you are playing on Classic difficulty.

*The version of Royal Roads available on Steam is not the collectors edition, which has 110 levels.

There is however an easier way...
- Start the game off on Easy difficulty and play all 100 levels, earning a 3 star score, and using the speed up and speed up construction abilities at least once each, which will unlock all achievements bar two, "Wizard" and "Hero".
- Then go to the main menu and click on the Cog/Gear icon and then click on the "Mode" button, and change the difficulty to "Classic".
- With Classic difficulty enabled, replay any level between 23 and 100 (these levels have access to the time stop ability, which is not available on Easy difficulty). While playing whichever level you selected, wait until the time stop ability is charged and then use it. The "Wizzard" and "Hero" achievements will now pop and you will have earned 100% achievements.

I sadly only discovered this info while writing this guide, when trying to find out if achievements could be unlocked on Easy mode. I first found this out via a number of Xbox console achievement guides HERE [www.xboxachievements.com] and confirmed it in a number of reviews on the Steam store page HERE .

The way I earned 100% achievements was simply to complete all 100 levels on Classic difficulty. If you want to get your money's worth out of the game, this is the way to play.

As for completion time... this will vary greatly due to the number of levels and obviously which difficulty you are playing on. Experienced players, playing on Easy I would say about 10 hours, novice players on easy or experience players on Classic would be around 15 hours.

Thanks for the thanks lionhart, much appreciated. To be fair, I think RR is different to every other Time Management game I've ever played, it tried to do things a little differently, although I'll admit, those differences aren't always for the better.

Thanks for posting the solution videos. Some of those levels are very tricky and the last one is insane. I have never played a time management game with levels as convoluted as this one.
