Description
This mod is also a part of my car pack here where it has also received some updates.
This version will stay up, but I would recommend switching over to the pack as it has many fixes and tweaks and will be more frequently maintained. You can even safely switch to it on an existing save!

Adds a Ford GT40 Mk. I, quite possibly the most beautiful car ever (unbiased), in both racing and road car variants. It has a lore-friendly name, and while the realism behind its presence is debatable, it is sufficiently rare. The a road car version is available in 5 colors and has slightly different specs from the racing version.

New update includes a new variant: The LM Edition

A classic retrofitted with modern technology.

NOTE: This vehicle is mid engine and Right-hand drive
This means that the mechanics menu is accessed from the rear, the trunk is in the front, and the driver sits on the right. All in line with the real car.

Had to make this, as it's my absolute favorite car and the Gulf Oil livery is legendary.

Future plans include an alternate road car model with the split vent hood and mirrors, and of course general fixes and improvements.

FAQ

Q: Multiplayer compatible?
A: Yes! In general, all of my (and many of others') vehicles will be MP compatible unless stated otherwise.

Q: What are the vehicle ID's?
A: fhqGT40 for the GT40 road car, fhqGT40Gulf for the Gulf Oil GT40 race car, and fhqGT40LM for the LM Edition GT40 race car.

Q: Can you make (x)?
A: If you're going to request a car, note that my main focus at the moment are cars that fit the game's time period (1993 and earlier). I do have cars outside of this timeframe on my list, but it may be a while before I get to them. I also already have quite a few on my list, so there's no guarantee I'll get to all of them.

@SirDani This car is included in Motorious Zone, so don't use it alongside the pack. The description of MZ has a list of all of the old standalone mods are included in it

as someone mentioned the car won't start, I feel like that's the LM version only, not only it has driver seat on the right but doesn't start either, would like to like the mod, but those cars just take up the spawns sadly :D ... the normal version still works okay though, just can't have one without the other

Hey man, I saw that you're taking requests, and i'd like to ask if you can make a Pontiac Fire bird 3rd generation. They fit really well into the time period (stopped being produced in '92) and it's a very good looking car IMO.

I know it will take a very long time to do it (if you ever do. I can tell you probably got tons of other recommendations haha) but it would be awesome to see one of my favourite cars in game.

thanks!

@naughtydog2017 This is possibly caused by the engine quality, (not condition) which can't be improved in-game without mods or going into debug mode. I fixed this a while ago in the vehicle pack

@Greenjack Yeah, basically the way it works now is that when you enable a sub mod, the sub mod disables the spawn list from the main mod and uses a new one. Each new spawn list from a sub-mod is a different file, so you can mix and match them. You can't pick each vehicle individually yet, unless you make a patch mod with your own spawn lua file. Exotics has the least vehicles in it though, and they all are very rare so it'll have the lowest impact on vehicle spawns.
