The Weasley Family Tree
Septimus Weasley
Father of Arthur and his two brothers

Septimus Weasley was a pure-blood wizard who married Cedrella Black. Because he was considered to be a blood traitor by the Black family, the marriage caused Cedrella's removal from the Black Family tree. The couple had three sons, including Arthur Weasley. He was the father-in-law of Molly Weasley, paternal grandfather of Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, George, Ron and Ginny Weasley, great-grandfather to James, Albus and Lily Potter, Victoire, Dominique, Louis, Molly II, Lucy, Fred and Roxanne Weasley and Rose and Hugo Granger-Weasley.
Cedrella Weasley (née Black)
Mother of Arthur and his two brothers

edrella Weasley (née Black) was a pure-blood witch, the second eldest daughter of Arcturus Black II and Lysandra Black, and sister of Charis and Callidora.

Cedrella married Septimus Weasley. The Weasley family had been considered blood traitors ever since they protested their inclusion in the Sacred Twenty-Eight, and so, due to her marriage, Cedrella was disowned and burned off the Black family tree tapestry.

Cedrella and Septimus had three sons, one of whom is Arthur Weasley. Through Cedrella, the Weasley family is related not only to the Black family, but also to the Crouch and Longbottom families. Through Arthur, she has seven grandchildren.

Arthur Weasley
Head of the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office from 1970 to 1996, head of the Office for the Detection and Confiscation of Counterfeit Defensive Spells and Protective Objects as of 1996, and member of the Order of the Phoenix during the Second Wizarding War; youngest son of Septimus and Cedrella Weasley and father of William, Charles, Percy, Fred, George, Ronald and Ginevra Weasley.

Arthur Weasley was an English pure-blood wizard in the employ of the Ministry of Magic, as well as a member of the second Order of the Phoenix. He was a staunch believer in the equality of all magical and Muggle folk and was the head of the Weasley family.

Arthur was born to Septimus and Cedrella Weasley (née Black) and had two brothers. He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1961-1968 and was sorted into Gryffindor house. Soon after graduating, Arthur married Molly Prewett. During the First Wizarding War, he and Molly had seven children: sons Bill, Charlie, Percy, twins Fred and George, and Ron, as well as their daughter Ginny. He was not a member of the Order of the Phoenix during this period, and it is unknown if he participated in any way in the First Wizarding War. At some point after graduating from Hogwarts, Arthur began working for the Ministry, in the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office.

In 1996, he was promoted to head of the Office for the Detection and Confiscation of Counterfeit Defensive Spells and Protective Objects by the new Minister for Magic, Rufus Scrimgeour. When the Second Wizarding War began, Arthur joined the Order. While guarding the Department of Mysteries, he was attacked by Lord Voldemort's pet snake Nagini, but he made a full recovery. Arthur participated in the Battle of the Seven Potters (1997) and the Battle of Hogwarts (1998), in which he suffered the devastating loss of his son; however, he survived the war.

After the war, he saw his family expand even further with the addition of twelve grandchildren, through the marriage of many of his surviving children and returned as the Head of the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office.
Molly Weasley (née Prewett)
Housewife/homemaker; wife of Arthur Weasley and mother of William, Charles, Percy, Fred, George, Ronald and Ginevra Weasley.

Molly Weasley (née Prewett) was an English pure-blood witch and matriarch of the Weasley family after marrying Arthur Weasley. She was born into the Prewett family and was sister to Fabian and Gideon Prewett, members of the original Order of the Phoenix.

Molly attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was Sorted into Gryffindor House. Sometime after she graduated, both her brothers were murdered by Death Eaters in the First Wizarding War. Molly and Arthur ended up having seven children, consisting of six sons named Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, George and Ron and only one daughter named Ginny Weasley. She also played a large part in the life of Harry Potter, acting as a motherly figure towards him.

Molly was a member of the revived Order of the Phoenix following the return of Lord Voldemort and participated in the final battle of the Second Wizarding War. Her actions during this battle caused her to be known as the witch that defeated and killed the notorious Death Eater Bellatrix Lestrange.

Molly survived the final battle to see her family expand even further, with twelve grandchildren by 2017. Percy and his wife named their eldest daughter in honour of her.

He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1982 to 1989 and was Sorted into Gryffindor House. Bill was both a Prefect and Head Boy.

After graduating from Hogwarts he went to work for Gringotts Wizarding Bank as a Curse-Breaker, working in Egypt. In 1995, he returned to England and joined the reconstituted Order of the Phoenix to face the reborn Lord Voldemort. During this time, he started courting Fleur Delacour and eventually proposed to her after a year of dating.

During the Battle of the Astronomy Tower, Bill was severely injured by the werewolf Fenrir Greyback. Although he wasn't turned into a werewolf, he did develop some wolfish tendencies such as a liking for very rare steaks. He married Fleur on 1 August 1997, although their wedding was disrupted by the arrival of Death Eaters following the fall of the Ministry of Magic. Bill and Fleur then moved to Shell Cottage, where they assisted Harry, Ron, and Hermione after their escape from Malfoy Manor. Bill later fought in the Battle of Hogwarts alongside the rest of the Order and survived.
Charles Weasley
Dragonologist at a dragon sanctuary in Romania; second oldest child and son of Arthur and Molly Weasley, and brother of William, Percy, Fred, George, Ronald and Ginevra Weasley.

Charles "Charlie" Weasley was an English pure-blood wizard, the second eldest son of Arthur and Molly Weasley (née Prewett), younger brother of Bill Weasley and the elder brother of Percy, George, Ron, Ginny, and the late Fred Weasley.

He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1984–1991 and was sorted into Gryffindor House. He was both a Prefect and Quidditch Captain during his time at school, after which he went to study dragons in Romania.

During the Second Wizarding War, Charlie was a member of the second Order of the Phoenix and fought in the Battle of Hogwarts in 1998, arriving with reinforcements during the final portion of the battle. He was also present when Harry Potter defeated Lord Voldemort once and for all.

Charlie survived the Second Wizarding War and continued his work with dragons. He never married and had no children, but through his siblings and their respective marriages, he had many nieces and nephews.

Percy Ignatius Weasley
Personal Assistant to the Head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation from 1994 to 1995, Junior Assistant to the Minister for Magic during the Second Wizarding War (until resigning to join the Order of the Phoenix in the Battle of Hogwarts), and Head of the Department of Magical Transportation as of 2014; third oldest child and son of Arthur and Molly Weasley, brother of William, Charles, Fred, George, Ronald and Ginevra Weasley, and father of Molly II and Lucy Weasley.

Percy Ignatius "Perce" Weasley was an English pure-blood wizard, the third child of Arthur and Molly Weasley (née Prewett). He was the younger brother of Bill and Charlie and the older brother of Ron, Ginny, George, and the late Fred Weasley. He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1987-1994, and was both a prefect and Head Boy.

He took the rules very seriously, and did not believe that Fred and George Weasley would get very far with their constant pranks. It was also once stated by his brother Ron that "Percy wouldn't know a joke if it danced naked in front of him wearing Dobby's tea cosy". A high achiever, he went to work at the Ministry of Magic after leaving school, working in the Department of International Magical Cooperation under Barty Crouch Snr and later as Junior Assistant to the Minister for Magic himself.

However, Percy's rise through the Ministry caused a rift between him and his family following the return of Lord Voldemort. His father thought that his promotion to Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge's office was a plot by the Minister to keep tabs on the Weasleys, and through them, Albus Dumbledore. Percy denied this and remained steadfastly loyal to the Ministry's line that Voldemort was not back, estranging himself from his family and furthermore condemning them for their support of and affiliation with Albus Dumbledore and the Order of the Phoenix. Even though the Ministry did accept that the Dark Lord had indeed returned following the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, Percy's shame over his behaviour stopped him from reconciling with his family.

After the fall of the Ministry to the Death Eaters in 1997, Percy finally realised just how corrupt the Ministry was and fully accepted that he had been wrong the whole time and abandoned the Ministry. Percy was tipped off by Aberforth Dumbledore about the Battle of Hogwarts in 1998 and finally made up with his family. He survived the battle but was grief-stricken over the death of his brother Fred, whom he was fighting alongside and was determined to avenge.

Following the downfall of Voldemort, Percy returned to work for the Ministry and became Head of the Department of Magical Transportation under the new Minister for Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt. He married a woman named Audrey and had two daughters, Molly, named after her paternal grandmother, and Lucy.

Ginny attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1992-1999, a year beneath the famous Harry Potter, and was sorted into Gryffindor House. During her first year, she developed a long-standing crush on Harry Potter and came under the influence of the memory of Tom Riddle's sixteen-year-old self. The memory was preserved in a diary, which forced Ginny to re-open the Chamber of Secrets, endangering the lives of many students, including herself. Following that ordeal, Ginny grew into a confident young woman, becoming an important member of Dumbledore's Army, an organisation taught and led by Harry Potter in her fourth year. She would later fight in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries (1996), the Battle of the Astronomy Tower (1997), and the Battle of Hogwarts (1998).
