They call her Alice, but she's no angel. Torturing anything that moves, she is relentless in pursuing her goal to become beautiful. Yet when she sees a perfect ink creature roaming around with one of the studio's old animators, she seizes the opportunity to fulfill her dark desires.

This animation very closely follows the story and events of Bendy and the Ink Machine. It's suggested that you are at least somewhat familiar with the game's third chapter to better understand the animation.

A look behind the curtain:
Oh boy do I love how this came out. But like always, there's a story behind it!

I've stated this before, but animating "I Believe" in just two months was a serious burn-out. I had a lot of free time and was working on it constantly, and I knew I couldn't do the same for future animations. I planned to take a break, of course, but it lasted way longer than I had initially hoped. Production on this video didn't properly start until October (about 6 months later) due to a lack of motivation, personal life, and other interests hogging my time. Because there had been such a long pause, I decided to work on the project and reveal what I had on Halloween. This ended up only being the introduction sequence, but the completion of that part made way for the rest of the animation.

Whenever I had the time, I would work and make progress on the animation's state. Chapter 3 in the original game is certainly massive and has some huge rooms, so lighting them took a while. It was also nice to not have this animation be as hindered by a lack of assets, so I was really able to let my imagination run wild with some of the shots. The only thing I believe I don't have is Fisher's model, which wasn't that hard to work around (heck Striker is barely in the video).

Just like my Chapter 2 video, which followed the character of Sammy Lawrence, it was clear that this video should center around our favorite angel. Alice was a new experience to animate since I haven't done much with actually "lip-syncing." With my FNaF animations, the entire jaw was really the only way to make characters talk. Bendy has a static mouth, and Sammy wears a mask, which meant that making Alice Angel sing is the closest I've gotten to animating a human mouth. All in all, I don't think I did too bad, so mission accomplished! At heart, Alice is also a more twisted and violent character, which was fun representing. Boris was also fun to animate with his timid yet chill nature.

There were also many scrapped release dates for this video I was aiming for at some point. September 28th (Chapter 3's birthday), February 14th (Valentine's Day), and April 14th. The first one was missed for obvious reasons: I didn't even start until October haha. This date was an idea I had shortly after my Chapter 2 SFM was out- it was never a serious goal. The following date fit well with Alice Angel so I had my sights set on it after properly beginning work. By the time I got there, I had only a little more than half of the video complete, so I released the trailer to make up for it. While I was close to meeting 414 day, it was made clear days before that the video would need to be seriously rushed to meet that deadline. I always prioritize quality over when a certain video can come out, so I decided to hold back. Whence we hit April, I kicked into high gear as I knew I wanted to finish by the end of the month. This rang true, and my Chapter 3 SFM of Bendy and the Ink Machine was complete!

But... yeah yeah, Chapter 4. When that's coming out? I can guarantee that I will start it much faster than when I began work on Chapter 3. Ideas are already coming together in my mind and the song has been decided (it's been decided for a while in fact). Keep a lookout for an upcoming video where I will elaborate and talk about my future Bendy animations. I will discuss Chapter 4 and my early plans for release.

In conclusion (stellar statement to end this whole thing I know, right?), I'm very proud of how this animation came out and I'm in love with what I was able to pull off!
