This is my Ultimate Review of the Game, seeing as I will not be finishing it.

Ultimately, when it comes to the first and second Chapter, they were fun. I had a really good time, I enjoyed them a Lot! It felt like, even though scripted in almost every aspect, it was a fun story like horror game! I really enjoyed it!

Then came Chapter 3.
At first, I was having a Blast with my New Pal, then, we get to the "big bad" of the Chapter, Fetch Quest Girl.
I was alright with it at first, It seemed like it was going to be fun! I did the first Errand, and then the second one...

Then the third came, and after being practically taunted and harassed by Alice, it started feeling tedious... But I wanted to get my moneys worth, maybe the next chapter wont be so bad!
It kept going, I managed to get the Gun, which was exciting, then, I made a Mistake.

There was a boarded up room, now, of course, When I used my Axe and Entered during one of the Fetch Quests, I didn't think much of it, Eventually, I got to the end of the Chapter, and saved my game! I was ready to put it down and rest.

I get back on hours later, only to find myself in the boarded up room, the door locked, and I'm SOFT LOCKED.
Atleast I bought the game while it was on-sale, but if I'm going to torture myself, I'd rather do it for free, then be surprised with it after paying 20 dollars.

The game, is getting a 3/10 for Chapter 3 made me feel like a wage slave, and I didn't even get my pay check.

I soft locked myself in chapter 3, and then when I got all the way to chapter 5, even after "clocked in" to save IN CHAPTER 5 AGAIN, it didn't save my progress, 4 hours of work, down the drain, not fun

Besides the art style and visual design, I don't think I can call this a game or a horror experience to anyone that has played more demanding horror games like Alien Isolation, Resident Evil (really any of them), Silent Hill 2 (original or remake), or even Faith the Unholy Trinity. It is a good horror game to start out or even for kids. It is what it is a cartoon-ishly styled walking horror simulator with some light puzzles and fetch quests. Good for kids but if you are experienced in horror or no younger than a highschool-er looking for something spooky, I would have to ask if not for the initial indie hype around this game, why are we in the equivalent of the kids table for horror?
