Project 17091 "POLESIE" soviet hydrofoil vessel

Description

Hydrofoils were a special pride of shipyards and one of the symbols of the USSR. Rising above the surface of the water, these vessels developed a speed of up to 50-60 km / h, i.e. approximately like passenger and suburban trains, while no rails were needed to be laid. In terms of comfort of movement, they were not inferior to the jet aircraft of that time.
The project 17091 Polesie hydrofoil passenger vessel is designed for high-speed river transport of passengers in the daytime along small rivers and reservoirs of the category " P " with a length of up to 400 km. It was created to replace the "Raketa-M" and "Belarus" hydrofoil lines. Its design takes into account the experience of operating the vessel "Rocket", "Belarus" and "Meteor".
Vessels of this type were built at the Gomel Shipyard (Belarus) for operation on the shallow rivers of Belarus (Sozh, Pripyat), Ukraine (Dnipro, Desna) and Russia (upper Volga, Kuban, Irtysh, Ob, Lena, Amur). In total, more than 100 vesselds type "Polesie" were built over the years of production.




How to drive:
  • Sit in the captain's chair
  • Turn on the power supply using the toggle switch on the left side of the dashboard
  • Set the throttle
  • Start the starter with the key on the right side of the dashboard, after starting the engine, turn off the starter
  • The transmission and reverse are controlled using the buttons on the left side of the dashboard

First off, no offence, but when someone spends time on a ship or anything with DIALS, why not spend the extra two minutes to set them up correctly? I give this a 2 out of 5 starts due to the setup required before leaving the dock Also, the transmission is setup lazy. You can do better.
