About the flatness of the level, its main purpose is to be slightly more realistic than classic flat-grass. For full flat level, the original Flag-Grass is more suitable if you need.
And about an abandoned rail line, we like this idea, we also wanted to add many more locations, but this level simply reach Source Engine maximum limitations. We simply can't have more brush faces or models because compilers and game engine crash.
