Description
What does this mod do?
This mod basically exists to smooth things out between Frackin and Project Redemption, including resolving some minor incompatibilities and offering some integration, in particular it:
  • Allows for USCM remnant bunkers to spawn on a vast majority of FU's planets.
  • Adds Frackin stats to the Prismatic and Impervious sets, including their shields, making them into hyper tank sets with some elemental protections/resistances.
  • The Platinum set has also been patched to have Frackin stats to it as well, and can be crafted as tier 4 equipment unlocked by Durasteel research.
  • The Heavy Peacekeeper armor set has also received FU stats as a balanced set.
  • Rebalances the Protector's set (including its recipe) into a tank exploration set brought in line with FU's tier 7 sets, coming with a damage buff to Protectorate themed weapons. It still features its built in techs.
  • All weapons from Project Redemption and its addons deal crit damage now and have their proper FU tags, no reloading support though. As a bonus this includes the Reprisal mod too.
  • All applicable items have crucible support. Now including a little extra for the Damaged and Protector's Handgun!
  • The lost and found merchant will now sell FU's starting pistol and protectorate shield.
  • The Damaged Handgun can now be crafted like the Broken Broadsword.
  • The fallen meteor microdungeons now can spawn on Dark Lava oceans while Impervium ore itself now spawns on the islands of both vanilla and dark Lava oceans.
  • Minor compatibility fixes relating to the Fossil Minigame, Ruin quest rewards, and intro mission.
  • Other small integrations.

Q and A:
why does the USCM remnant bunker look so much like the cultist lair in FU?
the cultist lair dungeon is a unused vanilla one actually, don't believe me? try doing "/placedungeon cultistlair" without the quotes in admin mode (in a vanilla copy of the game)
the USCM remnant bunker is just based off of that vanilla dungeon

do you have a discord server for project redemption and your other mods?
yup! you can access it here[discord.gg]

Huge thanks to Khe for making the statuseffect/lua behind the protector's armor set bonus and for helping me keep the set balanced within FU confines, Lack of Creativity for helping me test this mod and make the screenshots for it, Anom for the mod icon, and lastly Chucklefish for making this wonderful game!

@sergei.strizhak @Rawzbeef @LadFox @Tawoorie Whoops, looks like I forgot to properly set up a patch, should be fixed with the latest update now
Tawoorie 2 Jul @ 12:26pm
lost geology tree too lol
LadFox 2 Jul @ 10:14am
Third. The geology research tree is missing from the research tab in the personal tricorder. There's simply nothing to click on to access it.

Otherwise completely functional yesterday, and only this mod updated.

Yup me too, geology research gone, only this mod was updated since yesterday

With this patch - lost Geology research

@Marauder Well, I've made a fix for the issue by updating Project Redemption itself lol, instead of altering the vanilla molotovflame projectile I've made it so that the vanilla molotov uses edited versions of the appropriate projectiles, the vanilla projectiles should be back to normal now so that FU weather shouldn't be unintentionally destructive anymore
Armok  [author] 31 May @ 6:00pm
@Marauder thanks for the heads up actually lol, I should probably try and patch the appropriate FU weather to use the regular smoke effect to correct that oversight
Marauder 31 May @ 5:38pm
Not a huge deal but since PR patches molotovflame.projectile to call r-smoke instead of smoke on reap (which does explosive damage to tiles), this causes some FU weather (like molten rain on Cyber Worlds) to destroy blocks. Basically causes the planet surface layer to be destroyed under it's own weather fairly quickly if you spend a lot of time on the surface.

Just wanted to give a heads up!

Personally I just patched r-smoke.config to remove the tileDamageType and explosive damage to be 0, and it fixed the issue. Not very elegant on my part but meant as proof of concept for now lol

@Blackwolf_swe it's alright lol, hopefully you can get this issue resolved soon
