I only cleaned up the data that I thought was unnecessary and modified it to work in 1.1. I will not be further involved in such things as maintenance in the future or content addition.

Adds an automatic mortar. 3x3 and can hold up to 21 H.E. shells. Fires less often but more accurately than a normal mortar.

I suggest using this with ED enhanced options ( https://gtm.you1.cn/workshop/filedetails/?id=1241694757 ) as this allows you to tell your mortars to hold fire

really great mod. Is there a way to pick what specific shells I want them to use?

Any way to force this to use the 81mm shells that regular mortars use in CE?
The 60mm shells just tickle unless someone catches a near point bank explosion.

Anyone knows how to make these a bit more accurate? They are shooting all over the place. I tried the in game def editior and changed it from 1 to 2 then to 99 and it doesnt seem to make much difference? I wasnt sure if it was based of CE so I even used the Binoclears, but they are still all over the place! :)

great mod but would love to be able to limit shells
taking up 21 shells is a bit much in my base

For those not sure, this seems to work fine in 1.3 -- issues described in comments below would appear to be mod conflicts/issues -- I have over 100+ mods installed, and these auto-mortars work just like they have for the years that I've been using them...

As the description mentions, make sure to install ED Enhanced Options -- this allows you to direct these mortars to 'hold fire', as well as 'set forced target' when 'hold fire' is deselected...

For those mentioning an issue about infinite ammo, you probably have another mod that is overwriting mortar-barrel health and/or mortar-shell capacity that is interfering with this mod. I recall having this issue myself a while back (can't recall the mod causing it, sorry), but after uninstalling it, this auto-mortar mod went back to normal, i.e. 21 shells per mortar in the clip...

can you not manually aim them? set forced target?
