Omega Class Destroyer (13 Slots updated)

The Earth Alliance Omega Class Destroyer minus the turrets. I had hoped to make them, but after messing with the editor I gave up seeing as I would have to repeat the work in mirror as there are two versions. The four 'tubes' near the engines have simple coaxial hardpoints in them. There are 72 torpedo launchers, but normal game limits mean only 10 will work.

The is almost to scale, it's around 25% larger.

I added a few greeblies to break up the hull lines, but really wanted to try and keep the block count down. There are a lot of missing antenna, and detail from around the engines.

In it's current state, it turns about as fast as the moon rotates, and is just about as heavy. Once upgraded beyond the starting materials it does improve. However, this is not a small ship. (All stats shown are in Creative Mode with minimum untrained crew)

There is also several framework block sections to switch for what you need. The reserved hanger section is colored Trinium, the Naonite green section is where I plan on putting the Shield Generator

You will notice that several of the lateral Directional Thrusters are not grouped into a larger block, this was to keep the flames from poking through the hull (a personal peeve).
