Ectato, the ant-like collectively sapient insectoids got neither emotions nor mercy to spare. No one can stand on their path to expansion and live!

Each Hive is also their habitat and thus is extremely valuable to Ectato. Hives survive skirmishes by ever moving fast and keeping distance, while mercilessly swarming the space around with living weapons. Evidences tell also that at least on one occasion, when cornered by a Phamysht, a Hive turned around quickly and lunged desperately with all it got head-on at the enemy, thus obliterating the harassing ship in an instant.
