Happy digging: Dwarf Edition

Make sure that you use newest mod version. If you still see mod out of date in mod menu, you are using OLD version. Use this Peter Han Handy mod updater to get newest mod version : https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2018291283
Sometime if this mod mod updater provide old mod version, then try force update!

If you have some crash with this mod I need Player.log.Which is located %appdata%\..\locallow\klei\Oxygen Not Included
Location is valid only for windows. Without Player log I will probably ignore any bug report.

When duplicant dig tile they get only 50 % of mass. I dont like this "Feature". I Expected that Klei do something about that in some QOL update, but they didn't. It is ridiculus. We have digging stats, we have mining skills, but they only affect how fast duplicant dig and how hard material they can dig. But NO MORE !!!!!!!!!!!!! (this is really lot of exclamation point) Look at this picture. You can see my duplicant, they dig hard as dwarves. They are happy because they dont waste precious matter!

Now mining efficiency depend on digging stat and mining skill.
There is some math :
If Duplicant have no mining skill :
Efficiency = 0.5 + Digging/120
if Duplicant have 'Hard digging' skill :
Efficiency = 0.55 + digging/100
if Duplicant have 'Superhard Digging' skill :
Efficiency = 0.6 + digging/90
and If duplicant have 'Improved Digging I' skill:
Efficiency = 0.65 + digging/70
if duplicant has INTEREST in digging:
Efficiency = Efficiency +0.07 (+ 7 %)

Minning efficiency can not go over 100 %. (Unless you allowed it in configuration file.)

Robo-miner efficiency is = 50 %, can be change in configuration file. (Change NonDuplicantMiningEfficiency in configuration, this also affected ANY nonduplicant mining (robo miner, presure damage, comet damage).


If you want know how efficient duplicant is. Simply click on him, choose Skills and hover mouse over digging stat. (See pict 2)

Dont like this efficiency numbers because is too low/too high ? You can change it in configuration file, which magically appears in same folder where mods is, after you firstly run this mod.(As always for my mods)

- Small bugfixing.
- Added Non duplicant mining efficiency.
- Added floated information text. (can be turned off in config: ShowRatio change to false)
- Changed Efficiency values, it was too generous. Now efficiency is lower for same stats. Old config is not afected, only new one.)

Also added abillity to remove 10 digging (or change it to +10 strength) from AtmoSuit and JetSuit. If you want this look in config at :
