Description:

Having a realistic and working locomotive is nice, but having a realistic and working train is better! That is why Sach'aqa Industries, Pulchritudo Industries and Xaerthus's Rail & Air Industries (aka. onca77, Baron-of Pingas-Bradders and myself) joined forces and are bringing you a fresh collection of ready to use, functional and carefully designed cargo cars for your ultimate rail experience!

All of our cars use the concept of onca77's 6 axle cargo platform. That allows to omit the problems with cars on catchblocks, simultaneously allowing for plenty of cargo space and long, realistic designs. The middle bogie is permanently connected to the car for proper weight calculations and stability, while the side bogies help with guiding and allow for smooth connections. There is no need for weighting any of the bogies down (except the tipper car by onca), which makes the cars very light when empty and allows for maximising the locomotives cargo pulling potential.

Most of my cars have a body width of 9 blocks, which makes them appear more sleak (the boxcar being an exception), while onca's ones are 11 blocks in width and have a little more cargo capacity. The cars from X-RAI come in two variants: with and without the balcony. That balcony is of course only decorational, though you can get up and walk on it and in some cases there are even stairs to get up on the body of the car itself. And they just look nice, do you really need another reason?

All cars are made high speed friendly and can withstand 200+ km/h (though don't expect going that fast with some stockpiles full of stones, at least not yet, as there are constantly new solutions being developed)

Setup Instructions:

Just paste it in above the tracks (not too low) and you are ready to go. If you connect more cars together, make sure there is a slight distance between buffers (width of about a plank), as it is needed for the proper articulation on curves. Ignoring this may result in derailings on tighter curves (as the cars push eachother out if connected too closely).
