Description
Armor-Based Saving Throws aims to implement a game-wide change to the way D:OS 2's armor system works, without meddling with the specifics of skills or statuses. This add-on to ABST goes beyond that approach, combining individual skill and status tweaks that represent my completely subjective take on game balance.

This mod should come after ABST in your load order.

Overview:
-All skills and items that previously set Knocked Down now set 2 turns of Staggered, a 'halfway' status akin to Chilled and Shocked: it debuffs targets with -25% accuracy, dodge, and damage, as well as -1 turn AP. Another Staggering blow will Knock Down the target. Staggered can be removed by First Aid and prevented by Rested.
-Many named, unique, and noteworthy enemies have been marked as bosses, so they get the baseline advantage score ABST grants to bosses. They can be identified by their more ornate health bars. No change to vanilla stats or behavior accompanies this.

Specifics:
-Bless is an innate skill.
-Chicken Claw costs 2 AP and 1 SP to cast. Requires Polymorph 3 and takes up 2 Memory slots. Traders stock the skillbook starting at player level 9. Replaced in the Polymorph starter skills by Summon Oily Blob, requiring Polymorph 1, which was in turn replaced in the Polymorph skill progression by Flay Skin, requiring Polymorph 2.
-Chloroform no longer deals damage. Requires Scoundrel 2. Replaced in the Scoundrel starter skills by Sawtooth Knife, requiring Scoundrel 1.
-Curse is an innate skill costing 1 AP and 1 SP. (See 'optional changes' for another way to get this spell.)
-Dominate Mind costs 2 AP and 1 SP to cast. Requires Summoning 3 and takes up 2 Memory slots. Traders stock the skillbook starting at player level 9. Swapped in the Summoner skill progression with Warp infusion, requiring Summoning 2.
-Enraged can only target the caster.
-The Entangled status (caused by Worm Tremor) no longer prevents movement, instead slowing it by 65%. It and Webbed can both be removed by Burning, as well as attacks with bladed weapons (swords, axes, and daggers).
-First Aid can no longer target enemies.
-Ground Smash can hit allies.
-Medusa Head costs 2 AP and 1 SP to cast. Requires Polymorph 3 and takes up 2 Memory slots. Petrifying Gaze (the huge AOE skill it grants) now attempts to set Slowed, though the Petrifying aura is the same. Traders stock the skillbook starting at player level 9. Swapped in the Polymorph skill progression with Equalize, requiring Polymorph 2.
-The status Petrified now grants 100% resistance to Fire, Poison, Air, and Piercing damage, 75% resistance to Physical damage, and 50% resistance to Earth and Water damage.
-Petrifying Touch no longer deals damage. AP cost increased to 2.
-Slowdown Arrows deal Earth damage.
-The status Taunted once again has a Physical Armour saving throw. AP cost for Taunt decreased to 1. Cooldown decreased to 2. Turn length increased to 2.
-Terrifying Cruelty costs 2 AP and 1 SP, and sets Terrified for 2 turns.
-Uncanny Evasion turn length increased to 2, but the status Evasive grants 75 dodge instead of 90.
-Winter Blast can hit allies.

@civilization: No. Changes to skill requirements (cost, ability, etc.) only apply to player versions of those skills.

I'm new to the game so I don't know which opponents will have SP. Does the change to Chicken Claw mean that few to no enemies will be casting it?

The boulder ability that leaves a oil puddle could use a specific buff because iot took a large hit with the No-sticky oil sub-mod

Could you make a standalone mod for "Staggered"? And remove the accuracy penalty.
