Extremely rare to see a mildly challenging chamber where the player has no control over any of the portals (well, until the end, of course). It’s interesting seeing the fizzler implemented as a puzzle element necessary to the solution rather than making it harder - this is one of the only times where we as players would actually want it! Its usefulness did elude me for a couple minutes.
It’s nice how the puzzle doesn’t necessarily finish once you get the monoportal device - the next moves wouldn’t be that hard for someone who possesses the wits required to get it in the first place, but it was an interesting experience having the other areas of the map recontextualized, having to think about the same rooms we were in a little differently to set up the exit solution. Well done with this remake.
