Here's a little story for you, to get you going. Imagine Morgan Freeman as the narrator.
"You have just made it out of a lethal trap, barely surviving the horrors you faced. Nobody has ever made it this far, yet you have. Still shaking, you move on, nothing else to do but continue.
Aperture, unknowing of your capabilities, and panicking over their failure at the supposedly fatal trap, have set up the best security measures available. And as if that isn't enough, they have also created puzzles out of scraps of nearby test chambers! They intend to stop you, maim you, and worse. There is but one thing you can do to make it out alive, and it won't be easy.
You have to defeat Aperture, using nothing but your wits, and the Dual Portal Device. Can you make it to the final challenge? Only one way to find out..."
