Figuring out how the stats of each equipment type would be the difficult part to get right, especially since the devs said certain companies are hard-coded to give buffs while others depend on the equipment. i still think it would be fun for nations that use primarily Power Armor or Robots instead of having to use normal or motorized.
Penal would be like double manpower of a regular support company with militia levels of infantry equipment per troop, so like 50 manpower and 40 guns, with almost no defense but good HP and breakthrough.
Military Police would be a suppression boost without needing fancy equipment like dogs or enforcer armor, and also would be used as rear line defense and reserves for the front, so probably just militia cost and combat stats but as a support unit.
Signal companies would be similar to vanilla. Though since OWB has radio equipment and artillery shells, I guess you could go your own way with them and turn them into some sort of indirect fire thing.
Sniper teams would would be cool, but A 2 or 4 man sniper team that costs 40 or 50 guns would be cool to as a low manpower-high equipment option. I guess they would get a bonus to piercing and hard attack due to precision?
