and what needs to be changed to reduce the size of ore deposits on asteroids?

All informations about ore deposit for asteroids are in VoxelMaterials_asteroids.sbc file :)
i've created this mod for my server, where i prefer peoples spwan on planets than space. But today, this mod is obsolete. But it still interesting several people, in particular peoples who want modding asteroid's ore deposit ;)

Yup ;) but I want there to be a better balance for mining asteroids, as I love being in space. Do you have any idea about how one would modify such parameters? I'm beginning to mess around with editing ore dispersion in planets, but I haven't found any information about how to modify asteroids.

Or you can colonize planets to get ores ! :)

How viable would it be to decrease the size of ore deposits on all asteroids? I feel that there is so much ore that I only need to find one asteroid with Gold, one with Platinum, etc, and I am good on those resources for a very long time. If there were much smaller deposits, it would force me to explore further into deep space.

If I run a mod to remove plat from asteroids along with this mod, will that make it so only iron and ice spawn on them?

They aren’t affected. Only vanilla´s ores are!
