CRYSTAL SKULL

Based on the famed human skull hardstone carvings made of quartz once thought to be of ancient Mesoamerica.

These have been a source of mystery and controversy for decades amongst archaeologists, scientists, spiritualists, and museum officials. Thousands are produced every year in Brazil, China, and Germany while other more rare versions are believed to originate from Mexico and Central America. Recent microscope analyses of skulls by the British Museum and the Smithsonian Institution revealed markings that could only have been made with modern carving implements and both estimate their skulls date to sometime in the mid to late 1800s. In fact most of the skulls have been linked being manufactured in Germany using crystall found in Brazil and thus inaccessible to pre-Columbian indigenous civilizations.

So sorry folks, all the famed crystal skulls are likely fakes. These famous skulls got a boost in 2008 with the release of the action-adventure sequel Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. With the new adventure pack a crystal skull was a must and I hope you all enjoy it.
