GUN is an amazing open world western with a great story that came out 5 years before Red Dead Redemption. I found the map while small to be quite fun to traverse on horse back. I found the gunplay to be very tight and responsive and really enjoyed the games mission structure and side content. The games length is really its only down side as its about 8 to 10 hours to pretty much do everything. Despite it's length the game more then makes up for it by being a solid time and I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who likes westerns and open world games alike.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is a great 3D platformer and excellent homage to classic Disney. I found the story to be really fun and love how it explores the older Mickey Mouse era and I loved the inclusion of having Oswald the Lucky Rabbit as a jealous rival to Mickey. I found the games platforming and level design to be top notch and found the use of the Paint and Thinner to be really creative and fun mechanic. The art design and music are both most excellent and really capture the tone that the game is going for. It took me just over 10 hours to finish and there is replayability to go back and play through again with a New Game + option and that some quests and boss fights can be done in different ways depending on how you tackle them. Overall a really fun time!

Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered is a very fun third person horror shooter. Shooting is tight and responsive with some really cool guns. Level design is really fun and provides some nice puzzles here and there. I really liked the visuals and art design and found the games atmosphere and soundtrack to be excellent. The story is a fun romp through hell to save your lovely Paula from the evil Fleming and there is plenty of funny zany moments that happen along the way. The length is about 6-8 hours and there is a New Game + mode added into this version so you can play through the game again with all your upgrades which adds to the replayability. I recommend to anyone looking for an out there horror shooter!

The Thing: Remastered is a really decent squad based third person shooter that acts as a direct sequel to the 1982 classic. I found the atmosphere especially in the first half of the game to be spot on to the 1982 movie. The squad based mechanics are really good especially for 2002 and found the infection system to be a nice twist that keeps you guessing as to if your teammates are infected or not. Night Dive did a really good job with this remaster and I highly recommend it to fans of the movie and for people looking for a decent horror shooter.

I played the 360 version to death back in the day and found this remaster to be pretty decent. It pretty much is a more accessible version of the original game with modernised controls, modern graphics, reworked save system, the ability to fast forward time and new voice acting.

I would say some of the quality of life improvements kinda take away some of the challenge the original game. Also I feel there wasn't as many zombies on screen as the original either and sometimes the mall just felt empty compared to the original.

Despite my gripes I found this to be a fun time and whilst it doesn't replace the original for me I would still give a recommend to both die hard fans and newcomers alike.

Dark Sector is an incredibly fun third person shooter. It feels like a mashup of Resident Evil 4, Gears of War and Prototype. The shooting and cover system feel great, the Glaive powers are cool. The story isn't oscar worthy but is entertaining and gives a good excuse for all the action. I really loved it!

SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS is a really good package. You have the great Sonic Generations from 2011 (Albeit with some cut-scene and script changes) which still holds up. Then you got the excellent Shadow Generations an all new story that runs parallel to Sonic Generations starring everyone's favourite black hedgehog. The Shadow Generations content truly is the key selling point here and is a truly incredible campaign that has really top notch level design, great boss battles and some really cool mechanics with the Black Doom powers. I highly recommend!

DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO is a decent follow up to the legendary Budokai Tenkaichi 3. Gameplay feels like a natural evolution of what was there in the previous entries. The games presentation is very accurate to the source material. I liked the Episode Battle What If scenarios however, I feel like they kinda skimped out on certain things in that mode. For example Vegeta's story ends at the end of the Buu Arc and also skips some fights entirely like Vegeta vs. Dadoria.

I am disappointed with the fact the game is missing characters from the previous entry and also lacking in costumes for characters (No GT outfit for End of Z Goku for example). Also there is a real lack of stages compared the previous entry aswell. I am hoping in the future all these omissions are rectified with future DLC even though they should of been there to begin with.

I really did have a fun time with this game and do recommend it to anyone who loves the franchise. I just feel it's missing stuff that could of made it that much better.

A real nice appetiser for the main game. Combat is fun, fast and bloody. Weapons look and feel powerful and include secondary fire options. Really like the use of the Pencil and being able to draw things like bombs and doorways. I love the atmosphere, art design and found the music to be most excellent. Really looking forward to the main game!

Great FPS inspired by the likes of Ratchet & Clank and the modern DOOM games. Found it to be a fun time with tons of zany humor and memorable moments. Lots of fun weapons, tons of secrets and just overall a really fun time!
