As the first 'SHMUP' game that I've personally played (on Steam atleast), it's pretty good. Of course it does have it's issues (for example: you can't change keybinds on keyboard + controller, no pure mouse support and for me atleast, taking screenshots with a hotkey in-game is just not possible sometimes...), but apart from that, I still genuinely recommend you to try to it out. It's not too hard, but also not too easy so hopefully it's not gonna be a painful experience for you. Solid game honestly.

A pretty fun Wolfenstein 3D-esque fps game (even though this Steam port is complete garbage) with one of my favorite Nuclear Throne characters (Y.V.). If you don't really care about achievements, you can also play this on itch.io (where you can actually change the mouse sensitivity in-game, but it's low resolution, so pick and choose I guess...).

Great tactical-fps that's almost 20 years old, with a vibrant playerbase that's still alive (around 5000+ people everyday) with great official gamemodes and also a lot of incredibly fun custom created gamemodes (Surf, Bunnyhop...). Runs really well on low end hardware, thanks to the Source Engine that has aged extremely well (for the most part). A must for anyone who likes these type of games (also better than CS2).

Good RPG game from the early 2010's made in Flash. 7,5/10

Great rhythm game with nice visuals, banger soundtrack and simple gameplay with different levels (ranging from easy to hard). A recommend from me!

After 200 hours of playing, dying and dying (srsly, I died a lot of times) and getting all the achievements to 100% the game, I can recommend this banger of a game

Good arcade game

Great casual game! Might be old, but it holds up incredibly well! Damn shame PopCap doesn't make games like this anymore...

For a tower defense game about monkeys popping b(al)loons in hundreds of environments, it's pretty damn good one at that (also the music seriously slaps btw, Tim Haywood, you absolute legend!)

A solid enough Portal 2 mod that, while enjoyable and I've definetly had my fair share of fun moments in it, I honestly think it should have been free because it's nothing amazing, but certainly not bad either (it's decent enough). Buy this on a sale if you really wanna try it.
