Not even going to mention the positives because it's faster to just state the negatives of a game. Makes it more efficient looking through reviews.

Negative(s):
A lot of grammatical errors in the game where you find yourself failing some missions.
E.g. "Secure the north side and wait for reinforcements". So you think to yourself..."Yeah, lemme just head up there and camp at the north entrance because every enemy is dead". Game wants you to actually stand on the tiles that are lit up at the door entrance. It's those little things that cause fails because director isn't using the proper commands. You get used to it after a few missions or so. This negative is minor.

Game has no need for class/role to "Min Max" in this game because of how strong your Hero character are(you command Riot Squad alongside your Hero characters). In a "God-tier" Tactical RPG/RTS you have to "Max MIn" units like White Mage/Healer/Priest/Shaman around removing debuffs and healing. Those classes usually can't afford to equip offensive skills. In this game though, your support healers spend more time one shot(ting) units due to their high ESP(Magic). 6000 Damage Crit against the standard 800 HP enemy or 2000-3000 HP Boss enemy at Lvl 35 characters. This will not change even at the end game stage where enemies average 2000HP and Boss average 6000HP because you ESP scales with character level.

This isn't a complex turn based tactical RPG, however; there is "Cruel mode" which allows you to replay the more challenging missions in the game where units have more HP, damage etc. The problem with this is that you need to first complete the mission first before being able to play it which sorta devalues the aspect of difficulty since you cannot just start off on the highest difficulty to challenge yourself if you are the type of player that is experienced in this genre of games.

If you want to experience this genre more of game and have only played 0-2 within this genre, this game is a great way to spend 150hrs to beat the game since each mission on Normal takes anywhere from 5min to 1.5hr averaging around 35-40min per mission(you spend the first 5min or so moving around trying to find enemies/positioning yourself on vantage points).

P.S. The game makes you feel guilty when you kill the monsters that get their own cutscenes/skits of them having conversations with other monsters before the humans invade(your crew) to slaughter anything that moves. "The humans are coming! Quick! Protect the eggs" *Cries while being happy about the exp gains* Mixed feelings are trouble XD.

Great price for the amount of hours one will get out of this game even when it is not on sale.
Happy Hunting!

"A lot of grammatical errors in the game where you find yourself failing some missions."

It can be a minor problem. However, the development team can never take this lightly because it is a problem that has occurred in the most basic part of the mission's success or failure. Until now, the development team has thought that there will be no such problem if the design of the mission is changed. But thanks to you, we learned something new that we had forgotten.

"Game has no need for class/role to "Min Max" in this game"

It's a pity that the dev team haven't shown a clear difference in character's jobs found on traditional Role Playing Games or TBS. This is related to the efficiency of combat. Currently, the most important thing for most missions is how quickly they kill their enemies. As a result, the tendency to set all characters aggressively stands out. In response, the development team is trying to induce various character settings by introducing enemies who need a new response method rather than degrading the performance of existing characters.

"Cruel Mode"

In fact, we could use Cruel Difficulty from the beginning before. However, many people complained about the difficulty of the game after choosing that difficulty by mistake or on their own, and the development team had to receive a lot of bad reviews. Over time, this phenomenon was repeated and inevitably settled in the same way as it is now. But this is not invariant. The development team will re-study how to activate Cruel Difficulty from the beginning through several safety devices.

The time you expected will be enough to enjoy everything in the game. However, the development team's update still remains, so that time may increase from now on. :D
