I did not give this game a chance two years ago, because of the low score on Metacritic. But I have to say that this was a mistake. This is a good game. Clearly, this is heavily inspired in Dead Space, but introduces new mechanics like the dodges, that I really enjoyed. I have to agree with the negative reviews about the repetitiveness. We reach certain point in the playthrough that we face the same boss/mini-boss like three times in a row. Now, I enjoyed the conclusion of this story. It was a good plot twist. But to hide this finale under a paywall DLC feels like a cashgrab move.
Do I recommend this game? Of course I do. If you enjoyed Dead Space, you will like this game. But, get it on sale only and with all the DLC included.
