This game is actual peak. The style and flair soars past most games I've ever played. The charming story, characters, and voice over are all such a pleasant little journey to go through. The game itself is even more of a vibe, the beautiful presentation extends to the cards themselves with sleek artwork and super wild effects that just feel nice to sling at enemies. My only real complaint beyond the bugs I've experienced is more variety in play styles. Not only more cards for certain archetypes or archetypes in general, but I'd also like more ways to obtain cards. The shop specifically I feel is a lil underused as I often end runs with tons of the in-game currency left over. Still, this doesn't detract from the brilliant core this game has, please buy this game and experience what true peak is. Love for a small team in Brazil ♥

A flawed masterpiece, I think this game is absolutely amazing. It captures the sheer awesomeness of necromancy and the absolute spectacle of controlling a horde so large it makes the framerate drop to single digits. The issues kinda start there though: as I mentioned the framerate drops are absolutely terrible. I'm playing this game on the Steam Deck which might experience more stuttering than higher-end computers but it's still an issue nonetheless. Also, whenever your horde is so large that it takes up a monumental portion of the screen, it becomes incredibly difficult to spot projectiles that can potentially end full runs. This game is held back by several small inconveniences that mask the genuinely incredible game under the hood. I really hope the developers stick with the game and iron it out so that others can love this game as much as I do.

I have so many conflicting feelings about this game, especially as a long time fan of the franchise, but in the end I keep coming back to it and I don't think that'll stop anytime soon.
