Hands down a damn fine follow up to one of the greatest modern resident evil games RE7, this game takes what worked in re7 and improves on it, and adds more features, it reminds me a lot of Resident evil 4 in a lot of ways with the setting being presumably some village in romania, and the defunct currency being used Lei, plus it capitalizes on romanian folklore in some areas like castle dimitrescu kinda being like dracula's castle, and werewolves and such,
I recommend getting this game on sale, the gold edition gives you the dlc with it
