This is an amazing looking platformer roguelike. The controls are smooth, the enemy design is great and the combat is really satisfying. There is a lot of variety in the builds for each run, choosing two weapons and two bombs and trying to combo effect modifiers.

If you loved Rogue Legacy and want something even cooler, check out Dead Cells.

This game will grow on you if you give it a chance. It is what it looks like, roguelike side-scrolling bullet-hell spaceship action. The controls take a bit of getting used to and it may feel slow at first, but there are power ups to improve your speed if you go for that build.

Stellar Interface uses the choose 1 out of 3 options from other roguelikes and it makes each run feel a bit different. Improve you speed and fire-rate, or surround yourself with drones. The weapons also each have a slightly different feel and there are ships to unlock that each have a different 'bomb' and they are all quite different.

Lots of game play here with charming retro graphics, but I would still say to try to buy it on sale.

I am very new to the civ genre, but I am finding this game very fascinating. It takes a long time to figure out what is going on and I imagine a long time to get any good at this game, probably dozens of hours. The interface is pretty easy to navigate, which is key in these games, I think. This game is very granular, as I imagine most of these games are, lots of details to consider to build up incremental advantages.

But even when you are not doing very well, the stories the game tells are interesting, and managing the systems is very engaging. Give it a try...

My favorite thing about doing a puzzle is that the slow process gives you time to appreciate the art. Glass Masquerade has simple and smooth mechanics, the pieces automatically flip to the correct orientation, but since it is all glass work, color matching does not always help. It is a unique feel for doing classic puzzles. Very pleasant and the music helps.

Make sure you get the Lunar Year free DLC becuase it is a striking peice of art, but one of the harder ones.

Metroidvania with a very interesting art style. A lot of time in metroidvanias is spent exploring and Sundered delivers a beautiful world. The combat is loose and takes some getting used to, but I love most of the creature designs. The game does not deliver anything new to the genre, but like I said, the world is very well rendered.

There is a pretty straight forward upgrade tree and a nice system of mixing and matching bonus abilities. Each ability has a benefit and a drawback, which makes for choices with some depth.

This game looks great! It is an action RPG with a fun cast of characters and a pretty satisfying battle loop. I wish the item progression had a bit more detail, but it is a very easy and cozy game to play. Nothing mind blowing, just a great looking game if you like cute cat characters fighting monsters!

This is the best tower defense game I have ever played. There is a good balance of strategy and upkeep during a run. Each run has a different shaped ship and different threats that make for an interesting and fresh puzzle.

I suggest giving this a try if you like sci-fi and tower defense. Even if you don't like tower defense you make like Space Run!

I don't usually like sandbox crafting games, but Terraria is winning me over. The graphics are very charming and the world has a lot to offer and explore. The bosses seem interesting so far. The controls take a bit to get used to but it is worth it. I would say the game requires some patience as it takes time to build up and find the things you need.

A fun adventure, check it out!

This game is beautiful and challenging. The world is strange and very atmospheric. I think it also has one of the best soundtracks. If you like platformer shooting roguelike, this is a good pick. The characters play very differently and the bosses look awesome.

This is a blast multiplayer. Team-up and blow up the enemy. The controls are just janky enough to create hilarious moments. Sometimes somebody pulls off an amazing shot, or they blow themselves up, it's great. Especially recommended for a group of four friends. And the weapon variety keeps the game interesting, easy to pick up and get going, difficult to master. Also the arenas destroy in funny ways that also make some shots a real puzzle to solve.

Worms is a good buy, check it out!
