Without mods, it's a great strategy game. With mods, it is one of the best strategy games of all time, not kidding.

Also has sneks.

You join a server, you enter a squad, you get 33% chance of someone yelling at you for no reason, you spawn, you move to the objective, nothing happens for like 10 minutes and then you suddenly get killed by artillery.
I'd say this is really close to real life if we're talking about a soldier's experience in war.

If you like getting your ass clapped you either download a dating app or buy this game.

Game's fun with friends, like most are but it can be fun when played solo. I'm giving it a negative review because fun is the most you'll get from this game, it is NOT a good game.
Summarized reasons:
-Poor new player experience and lackluster tutorials. You'll need a guide to figure out what you're actually supposed to do, instead of running like a headless chicken.
-Horrible anti-consumer decisions. Vaulting is a thing, which means that you literally cannot play some previous campaigns unless daddy bungie gives you explicit permission (note that this means some equipment and items are next to, and literally, impossible to obtain. They also just give you less content and of less quality for each subsequent dlc, for the same or even higher price.
-Messy, hard (or impossible, refer to above) to understand and all around mediocre lore and dialogue writing. "Time to step beyond the light" is an actual line in the DLC Beyond the light. Yes not even kidding, it's one of the lines of all time. BTW did I mention the best campaign in the game is vaulted?.
-Painful F2P experience. Two subclasses are locked behind paywall for example, which gives you a disadvantage in PVP and an advantage you can't possess in PVE. (Yeah you CAN run high level stuff without strand, but it's a hell of a lot easier when you can just suspend champions in the air while they can't do a ♥♥♥♥ about it, isn't it?.
A lot of equipment is locked behind paywalls, along with campaigns, raids, dungeons, and the destinations (planets) ARE available for free but they're just barren wastelands without nothing to do if you don't own the corresponding DLC.

Also, get a clue D2 fans. They think you're not just dumb, but complete moronic cashcows. "Oh, we're vaulting content so filesizes don't get too big". Just make them free DLCs. "Oh sowwy this is half assed becawse it was made in quawantine". Charge less for it then. And blah blah.

This is seriously something like I'd never seen before. If you don't know what this game is it's basically a turn based action game where you control those stickman figures that beat the crap out of each other on flash animations
