SONY. SONY NEVER CHANGES

The situation with PSN vividly illustrates the expression "shooting oneself in the foot."
Only here, in the head.

It's very puzzling that they've decided to require linking a PSN account for everyone, even those living in countries where PSN isn't available. Then why was there access to purchase the game in those countries? What if HELLDIVERS 2 didn't have server issues at launch and linking to PSN was necessary—how would that have worked?
You're not Bethesda. it's just don't work

Okay, that was a rhetorical question.

Sony claims that linking to PSN will provide me with more protection and security against bullying and scams. But now it just looks like a scam.

How can a company, which has had entire franchises and roadmaps leaked and freely given away for years, protect my data? It seems like my data and I personally would be safer if my data weren't with Sony.

To hell with Sony, pity the developers and the game.
