Ark is a very specific game in the way in which you must play it. If you are looking for a fun experience without joining a pre existing massive server you will be disappointed. The game is tailored around having dozens of people in tribes working together to achieve anything of value. It is also very easy to lose your progress if things go poorly. However, if you can overcome these flows you have a massive, beautiful game with countless hours of building, exploration, and grinding. Each dinosaur species feels unique and the feeling of accomplishment from finally taming a T-rex or building a decent base is amazing. It is additionally a game where a lot of knowledge must be explored on a wiki rather than in game. This is a common issue with survival sandbox games, rather than an Ark specific issue. Overall, the game is an 8/10 and frequently worth revisitng after a break from a long playthrough
